I dont understand this meal prep bs. Why cant you just eat your left overs like a normal person and call them that.

Yeah, dude, meal prep is probably something you should ask your mommy about
@flyboytalan
wat
If that’s you the last thing you need to worry about is leftovers, you fat fucker
Meal prep and freeze, I save probably $50 a week not buying sayboy meals like i used to. I cook for about 3 hours on sundays and I make my breakfast and lunch for the week, best part is I like what I cook so even a week in I'm not sick of eating it. i can decide what I want for dinner and usually eat out 2-3 times a week with the money I saved. Sure I'm spending the money, but its spent on "not having to cook" rather then garbage sad boy meals for one.
Op it's the same principle as an assembly line. But doing it in bulk it gets more efficient. Drives costs down basically.
So you meal prep to save money then spend it eating at Pizza Hut 3 times a week?
That’s the dumbest logic I’ve ever heard
It's called getting optimal nutrition without unnecessarily wasting food and money by extension. Spend 5 minutes looking up recipes and a couple hours cooking and boom, meals done for the rest of the week. Time and money saved.
The point is to save money and time you blithering imbecile. You cook once a week instead of seven or twelve times. You bulk buy 3-5 things (rice, meat & veggie, whatever) instead of trying to be Gordon Ramsey six days a week for the rest of your life.
Preparing meals in advance helps you to not waste time and also have good food options. I prepare meals every week on Sunday and do OMAD. It really simplifies things and saves me money.
I don't meal prep to save money I never said that I said
>I save 50$ a week not buying say boy meals.
My intention is to eat better not save money.
And I don't buy pizza hut, Dominos is my preferred pizza chain, but I actually leave my apt to eat not just order pizza 3 times a week.
Meal prepping when done right is just the modern age version of frozen meals but actually healthy and often cheaper. I do it cause I work 12hrs 5 days a week sometimes more. So it makes it so I’m not just ordering shit food or microwaving meals at work. Also I’ve cut my food expenses in half and use the extra money to do small trips or host at my house.
sorry but I like variety and being healthy. this seems like one step to being like a machine or having to deal with malnutrition.
Its what poo people do so they can seem interesting and on a fitness track. What type of scrub bitch wants the same meal over and over?
Join your local union and you can get the pay you deserve and breaks long enough to eat!
What retard needs to look up how to make steamed broccoli?
The real issue is that leftovers don't taste as good as when they're initially cooked. Especially a week on, or when they're frozen.
Stuck in tupperware, everything gets soggy, flavors all blend together and everything is just a little bit off texture wise.
The real issue is even my dog hates the same meal everyday, but these fags take pride in it
I am union. I have my full time that 80hrs biweekly and I picked up a part time just to earn more money while I’m young and able. Our breaks at my work are kind of up in the air sometimes just due to how emergency care works. I generally get them and if not I get compensation for it.
Especially the kind of stuff in OP's pic. Lasagna, however, comes back to life nicely.
I have eggs and smoked salmon with toast for breakfast and a pastrami sandwich with bbq Pringles for lunch 5 days a week. Why are there even any other lunch meats?
I agree. The day of meals are better for sure. I don’t do the week preps like some people do. That’s a little gross to me. I only prep for 3 days at a time because that’s about as long stuff lasts before it’s really just not as good.
Im sorry your sodium
All the love is gone from left overs, user.
this is bait
Yeah, pastas work OK, as long as you cook the noodles really al dente. Some things like soups/stews and other one-pot things don't suffer too much. But those are harder in summer months.
Salty is my kryptonite
Soups and stews are great. Pastas weird me out since you can get bad GI infections if it sits too long
>poor peoples problems
As someone who's had projectile-from-both-sides food poisoning proper food safety is paramount for anything.
Supermarket sushi in the barely cooled display racks baffles me every time.
I wonder how many people go through "spells" of fixating on a certain thing. After a decent Mexican restaurant opened nearby, I almost lived off of tacos for 5 months. Also had a "stew" phase that I thought would never end.
>when you have deja vu
Just eat a slat lick
>so you meal prep to save money
If you cant parse meaning in the English language, you should refrain from criticism.
Yeah, you’re not eating at good restaurants 3 times a week for $50.
You utter retard
If you don’t know how to use an apostrophe you should not fucking embarrass yourself on the internet.
Your comma is also unnecessary. Retard.
English: 4/10
I usually don't have leftovers. I eat at Mcdonalds mostly. Sometimes at Jack in the box. I don't really understand this meal prep fadat all.
>wagecucking for a house
kek
You host at your house?
What kind of gay shit is that?
You don't eat the same shit every time genius. Sometimes ill do half/half for the week, like smoked ribs with sweet potatoes and corn/chili with spicy chorizo sausage so I can alternate my meals.
If you're meal prepping chicken breast, white rice and broccoli all the time then you're basically a faggot and should kys
You should kys
I'd bet you will die before 50 of heart disease from eating a shitty diet. Only another 40 years to go before you croak and dry up like the piece of dog shit you are.
Haha ur making me blush :^]
