I'm curious know about what sorts of potentially rough situations you guys have narrowly avoided in the past-
Example: I met a cute girl at a show once and we started chatting pretty consistently, went on a few dates, said she really liked me. However I decided not to commit for various reasons. Now as I've learned from social media posts this girl is like 60 pounds heavy, was diagnosed with Lupus, is pretty much homeless, and has no money and has dragged her current boyfriend down with her. I am very glad I am not involved in that situation.
