Skyrim. Good visuals that aren't so taxing you can't run them on lower end hardware, easy enough mechanics that you can just hop in and play but deep enough to reward you for learning how the mechanics really work, great replayability. Yeah, Skyrim really does tick all the boxes.

Dragons quest was literally like playing MARIO with a sword and shield. HURR DURR GO GET THE PRINCESS N WIN. Breath of Fire and Final Fantasy get good reviews because of how bad Dragons Quest was. It straight up takes weeks to finish if you dont go insane from the same music and fights because there are only 3 places to go. It was literally like playing Mario with Sword and a Shield. Hurr Durr go beat up the Bowser but he is too strong get power ups first but by the time you ever get to the princess is old wrinkly and her vagina has fallen out. Not to mention the boss literally asks you if you want to surrender and if you say yes it fucking ends it all right there. What does he do just fucking kill himself???

im actually recently replaying through it while i wait for Greedfall. I went mage Ryu and while the run to the boss is harder since you want to save as much of his AP as you can until the boss. But once there AP Ryu with a little bit of physical damage nukes bosses. I just beat Elder Dragon last night and since you cant dragon form during the fight so Gar with the spear you get from Giest's ashes carried me.

About now I'd suspect some kind of casual to chime in about AP restoratives. I'm going to say it now: AP restorative items are for fucking chumps.
