who said it's 4 digits ?

yea if its only 4 digit combo, with my keypad at work is 8 digits for the combination then 1 to open it so 9 digits

This
/thread

wrong, i said guess the code not point out the obvious you nigger

Nice samefagging tho

what do u want?

im not a mind reader. i need english sentences

what r u waiting for? vague clues til youre on ur deathbed?

It's only 'countless' if there's no limit to the number digits in the combo. If there is a defined number there is a set number of possibilities.

Attached: mhm.jpg (250x250, 11K)

>countless
>actually 10,000 combinations
Why do u lie faggot op?

>countless possible combinations
Only if you don't know how many digets are in the code, which any loitering by the keypad should tell you...
Assuming it is just a standard 4 didget code, there are only 24 possible combinations to try.

Op is not only a nigger who can't count but he also want us to figure out the math for him

Even with a 9 button code, that is still only 24576 possible combinations, a far cry from the 1 billion it is supposed to have...

How does the keypad react to incorrect input? Does it stop you once you get it wrong and make you start over, does it just let you keep trying until the correct code is entered or does it just let you keep typing without telling you that you have already failed and will not open until you stop and try again?

Can you press the same number more than once?

Is it only a 4 digit code or is it longer with just those numbers?

Does it only give you three tries like most alarm systems?

Does the keypad or anything connected to it have a maker or company logo on it?

Have you unscrewed the keypad from the wall to see how it is connected?

Is it a door code that needs the hash or star pressed at the end to ‘enter’?

Have you tried just kicking the door in?

Watch out, we got a genius over here

This, it might be possible to just jump the wires to open the door. No code required :^)

You can't even guess, but yes op is the nigger

The answer is 4 to the power of N
Where N is the total number of digits in the code equal to or more than 4.
Eg. If it’s a 6 digit code then it would be
4x4x4x4x4x4

who is this fine, young boy?

Not quite, you still need to excluse the cases where only 1, 2 or 3 of the possible 4 digets show up

Post more

Oh shit you’re right, that’s what happens when you watch The Dark Crystal and browse b at the same time

put a wireless tiny cam on the ceiling pointing at the keypad, sit outside pretending to be on your phone

check phone for camera feed
dude enters code
bam

This is the only good solution

it's how they caught a hacker in my country
the IT trannies in the office put cameras directly above the workstations lmao

what did he hack

101779 is the code to that door though

considering that the keypad looks like it was made in the 50's it's 4 digits.

the national revenue agency
basically doxxed everyone. SSNs, addresses, ID card numbers, full names, businesses they owned, etc.

Nice. I'd love to buy a small inconspicuous camera for.. science

>countless
Sigh....
Ever heard of maths, tardnigger

It is six digits, quads buddy

>countless
Someone doesn’t know about math

Countless means 'too many to count'. If it's a sixteen digit code you're not counting all the possible numbers.
Tldr countless just mean a lot

You sound upset?

THE QUADS OF TRUTH HAVE SPOKEN!

No it means count-less, for OP is a nigger

Imagine samefagging this hard

count·less

adjective
too many to be counted; very many.

checkmate, atheists

You've omitted the fact that there could be repetition of a digit, eg 0000.

It doesn't and your autism isn't funny. :)

The code for the door is 101779

this, x^4 combinations with x being the length of the code.

Fucked that up, its 4^x, x being code length
