@SebfromMTL Huh? I think you may have misunderstood – Unseen Worlds didn’t initiate any chargebacks, the owners of stolen credit cards did. For the credit card owners that is free, because the card companies will charge the shops with the chargeback fee.
If a shop sells a key to a customer, who uses a stolen credit card and resells the key via G2A, the shop looses all the money from the original sale plus the additional fee, whoever bought the key from G2A might loose access to the game, and G2A and the credit card thief get to keep their profits (commission charged by G2A for the resale, and rest of the resale for the scammer).
Unseen Worlds got hit with chargebacks totaling 30k. How much of that is from scammy G2A sales is hard to say from the outside, but probably at least part of it is.
