You need meaningful challenge. Comfort doesn't make you happy.

People need challenge. You're probably miserable BECAUSE you have a comfy life.

Comfort is death.

Comfort was never the goal, you lazy nigger

What? I should bust my ass working my entire life to be miserable? You’re a retard

Idk I'd be pretty happy to live the rich life for a week. It'd be really surreal and take some getting used to since my family are pillheads myself. It's almost like if you already have challenge THEN comfort rids it's own poison in that aspect i guess.

You should bust your ass your entire life to be satisfied.
If you're working hard and are not satisfied, or you're hardly working and are not satisfied, in both cases you done f-f-f-f-F-F-FUCKED Up.

Happiness is not found in comfort. Happiness is found in meaning. You live a meaningless life, as evident by the fact that you think comfort should bring you happiness. Do something larger than just yourself. Pick up an art, have a child, pour yourself into your community, commit your spare energy to something other than the lukewarm pursuit of whatever petty indulgences you use to justify getting up in the morning.

I’ve done more shit with my life than most people, I’ve worked for everything I have. I’ve been all over the world. Why can’t I be happy with what I have?

What do you have?

Seriously though...why is that so bad

You could be happy with what you've got except for one thing. You've worked hard for everything and have been all over the world. That indicates that you're a "striver" , hard-wired for achieving the next thing.

Because of this, you'll never be happy resting on your laurels.

Believe me, I'm the same way.

you need to find something. i was misrebe when friend came over and stole a bunch of my stuff.

Except I’m not. I fucking hate working. That’s why I worked to get a decent job so I could do less of it

I didn't say you would be happy WORKING. I said you wouldn't be happy resting on your laurels.

You have to find something MEANINGFUL to pursue. Not necessarily a job, but some activity.

Comfort is for pets, retard. Stop jacking off so much and find something that at least feels productive to do.

Because we always need challenge. Something to be focused on and working towards.

>Why can’t I be happy with what I have?
>What do you have?

Honestly I think if life was more challenging I wouldn't have as much time to be miserable. Though that might be the mandatory overtime weighing me down.

Struth

Could it because there's a part of you that wants you to better yourself, but you're lazy and or keep putting it off.

人生は痛い、そしてあなたの生活が空っぽ。

And a Ching Ching dong ding to you too

>Why am I miserable if I have a relatively comfy life?

The answer never changes. Eons pass and empires rise and fall, but the answer never changes...and no one ever learns.

Human nature. It’s in us to constantly want more or better. To never truly be satisfied.
