,

I mean them attack you like the pic proves that they are bad pets

Not necessarily

That's not even an attack. Hes holding his nose.

Love my boys but pretty against broad ownership. They're like fucking mogwai, they come with a big list of rules you cannot break.

Birds are the worst and so are bird owners. You can keep your flying, shitting everywhere rats. I fucking hate birds.

Indeed it is.

I agree user!

If you know how to treat a bird they will be happy. And you won't be keeping it in the cage. that's for sleeping/eating/drinking or playing with toys. rest of the time they'll be hanging out with you

Yeah they're really cute and all but two things put be off.

First being that it feels a little amoral to cage a bird, idk why it just feels different than a dog or a cat.

Second is the fucking non stop squawking or whistling HAS to get annoying, if not for you anyone that comes over.

Has your bird ever say "I love you" with a blank expression? I rather owe a snake than having an annoying flying talking/whistling rat and also there high maintenance. Unless you're talking about train pigeon, then that's fine. Trained pigeons are easy to maintain and also to train

Don't be

MEAN

>it feels a little amoral to cage a bird
you don't just keep them in there to gawk at. that's where their necessities are. It's also a safe spot for them. Just leave the cage open and let the bird decide where to hang out. If it's a parrot even better they love to hang out with you.

Birds are pretty good about not attacking their owners.

This.
Anyway, I'm curious if it is possible to keep bird without cage...

You can let them roam freely. They tend to chew up cords and mess with shiny objects.

I agree, best pets ever

Legitimate question. How do bird owners deal with bird shitting everywhere?

If you let them sit on your shoulder, keep a towel under them. They can be trained to an extent not to shit where you don't want them to.

But I'm 100% sure accidents happen. Aren't you disgusted of it?

Eh, I own a dog so it doesn't really faze me. You get used to pets shitting in places you don't want them to.

what is worse and why

Dog shit is quite a bit worse, mostly because there's more of it.

Ok. Stench?

The bird isn't so bad. Occasionally she'll push out one that smells terrible but once it's cleaned up it isn't a problem. Dog shit will linger unless you get all of it.

They stink like garbage.

They smell cool

Trash, they smell like trash. Trash smeller.

No, they don't smell like trash.

Old dirty trash cans with smelly garbage.

Nope. They don't smell like trash.

Not big deal.
It doesn't smell, and is relatively easy to clean up. Birds can be trained to shit on command.
Sometimes they can shit on your shirt, if you have a big bird you will feel the hot wet thing landing on you.

You're right, I can't. For a responsible owner that makes caring for their bird one of their hobbies, fostering a relationship with a bird is one of the coolest and most rewarding things one can do. Mainly talking about parrots here, because of the involvement and commitment it takes. But they certainly aren't for everyone.

In my experience, birds are awesome. They are also huge assholes.

Wait a moment. This cunt drinks bee'r

Birds are awesome. Except seagulls

Never seen a wild bird intentionally eat fermented fruit just to get pissed off their tailfeathers?

Yep. Never

When it happens once, that might be an accident. When they come back the next day, you know they're just there to get fucked up. I've seen birds do it, I've heard deer do it, wouldn't be surprised if raccoons and possums do it.

wait, is that birb smashing a fucking bundy?

Birds stink like the shitty little dinosaurs they are.

Birds smell nice. I can sniff them 24/7

You probably smell your fingers alot too.

No

Just smell birds all day? Do you pick out their mites for them as well?

>mites
If you see them, you can use a dab of dog-cat front line drops.
This will kill them. And somewhat safe for birds.

Ligaya come!

Birds can't be allowed to be unattended outside of a cage because cats are chads.

They're definitely little shits with they're chewing tendencies. You should always have something for them to chew on. They are like permanently teething babies

It is possible, you know. Eagle is $1500, just like macaw or something. Though falconry license is like "fuck you".
I might actually consider. You know.
