I want to make fistfuls of money. I'm working full time and living with Dad again but still I find my bank savings stagnating. I'm a single male who is thin and no disabilities other than prescription glasses.
I'm just tired of being poor and I want to make a huge amount of money ethically so that I can pay people to help me develop video games and have the ability to move out.

It is impossible for the average person to make that much cash ethically/legally in a 9-5 type job.
You need to be dedicating at least half your out of work time to making money either through additional hr rate work or through projects that will pay off (developing an app or website for example).
Even then, the odds are stacked against you.
I was in your boat op until I did something about it and I started my own business. 10 grand of my own and 30 grand loan from the bank. all I'm doing is going to corporate factories buying their used barrels and totes, cleaning them, and reselling them. I work 40 to 60 hours a week and last year I made 110k. Be your own boss and stop being a wage slave op.

OP - take a yellow pad and make 4 lists:
>1) Things you love, your passions.
>2) Things you're good at, strengths but not necessarily passions
>3) Potential careers you could see yourself doing with your passions and strengths
>4) Steps or hurdles to overcome to make it happen. Do you want to be the CEO of a company? Do you need an MBA? Add it to this list.
Also, try doing things that don't require a lot of cost but could be huge! Like writing scripts. It takes almost no money and with the internets, you can get any textbook on any subject. Learn and master the trade. You don't need to go to school...you need to know.

Also, there are three things you need to be a good person that people want to do deals with you, OP.
1) You need the skillset and aptitude, regardless of the market or industry or type of work/job
2) You need the experience
3) You need the right cultural fit (are you a team player, do people like you, do they want to work with you, etc...
Lastly, and I can't stress this enough, stay away from boyfriends and girlfriends and kids until you achieve your dreams. Follow Tom Leykis, youtube it. His old shows are gold. But women and spouses in general are dream killers. Stay away. Focus on you. Always wear a condom and always pour tabasco into the condom after youre done but before you toss it out. I've had a chick steal mine before and I had tabasco in it and it saved my life. She was trying to get pregnant with me.

OP here and I just wanted to say thanks for the feedback guys. My Dad also says trade school is an option and they give you paid internships but I guess it takes several years. Is it worth it? Why or why not?
