We can't. I personally think Yea Forums is done. The smaller boards are still decent. The Yea Forums culture of the past still lives in the smaller boards that remain mostly untouched. I won't name them out of fear of those boards being invaded and degraded as well, but there are some that are still there. As for the more popular boards like Yea Forums Yea Forums Yea Forums /r9k/ there really is no hope. Majority of the people that still browse them just go with the flow and just post and reply to the porn and tranny shit. I honestly don't know how to get rid of all the porn and shit. It does saddens me just because I remember how fun this board used to be. If I'm being honest there would be no point. I loved Yea Forums for it's brutal honesty. There was literally no other place on the internet like it. It was the only place where you can get BRUTAL FUCKING HONEST. Yes there are shills, yes there are people who falseflag, but this is the only place where you could get a truly honest opinions on things. People on Twitter and Facebook care way too much about their reputation and what other people think to give their honest opinions. People on Reddit care way too much about imaginary internet points and even if they don't, their shit gets downvoted to the point where you won't even see what they said or they just end up getting shadowbanned.

If Yea Forums was to get nuked there'd be no point in bringing it back. Reddit pretty much serves all the points that Yea Forums did back in the day, aside from brutal honesty. Subreddits are better in the fact that they're just structured way better. You only like RPG games? Well you can browse a board that's strictly for RPG instead of shifting through all the shit you don't care about on Yea Forums or /vg/. You only like horror movies? Well you can browse one of the many horror film theme subreddits instead of banepost after banepost on Yea Forums. If Yea Forums does get nuked, it won't have nearly the same following or traffic it did originally or even does have now.

You can insult me or shit on me all you want but even I can admit that I browse Reddit way more than Yea Forums at this point and that's just because the information is just more readily available when it comes to Reddit. The structure of things are just better. And more importantly I can specifically choose what content I want vs just going with the flow. It would be a horrible fucking idea to nuke Yea Forums and start over. I mean we've even seen how that work for shit like infinite chan, etc etc. You may get a bit of traffic but eventually it'll die out or just become stagnant with a few posters. I think all we can do at this point is just continue this ride until the inevitable death or just move onto something else. I think we're in a time period where people are way too sensitive and care way too much about being politically correct and what other's think for a place like Yea Forums to stick around. The fact that it's even still around now in 2019 is amazing. The only chance I see Yea Forums having at sticking around, is probably moving it to the darkweb.
