2nd Amendment is outdated. They lived under the constant threat of organized groups, such as Native American tribes, or foreign militias, who could conscript them or kill them and burn or steal their property. These families formed “well-regulated Militias” to improve their protection. that's not the case today

bull, the 2nd keeps us free or we would turn into a socialist/ communist country. the government is supposed to fear the people. Not the other way around. its just as bad if not worse now than it was when it was written. our own government is now after our freedoms and trying to take them away so they have more power.
