Top kek coming to Yea Forums for workout advice. Dont you know everyone on here is a neckbeard?

Yeah, but I'm hoping some people aren't...at least know something about upper body workouts.

My bad advice is boxing. Hit the bag, that's functional strength. Not some cringy anime dragon ball z motivation.

You do all these small push ups and variations of push ups. Also if you're in the military grecoroman wrestling. It'd be cool to do both boxing and Grecoroman wrestling. Sometimes you get all these bodybuilder type boys look all faggy hitting the bag on their first day of muay thai. So for the sake of principles you can do combat sports.

There's this guy on YouTube athleanx who's very good at lifting advice.

Do it a lot helps. Lift heavy lift hard. Pose and flex on your gains. Really hit the heavy bag. I don't think there's a magic trick for 5 months other than doing it and getting gains. Recovery and rest. Maybe you're not one of those people that has that.

Honestly I met this guy in highschool whose triceps were impressive. I built some traps but my upper body has eluded me for most of my life. I hope it's not too late for me to spend the day at the gym working my upper body.

It's probably bench pressing and doing it a lot. After that you add things to sound more sophisticated. It is basics and just doing it.

It's bioscience why would I give you advice? You're procrastinating literally just do it.

* it's all broscience

Broscience? Hit the forearms and triceps. Go for the traps. Walk around with the milkmans carry. Then pull ups.

Even it out with biceps and chest. Just bench press.

I saw plenty of videos on YouTube about this, it was all the same. Lift heavy and drown in protein shakes. I am not looking for a magic trick, just personal experience I guess. Boxing a weighted bag is something I already do. I will check out this guy on youtube, I hope I could learn how to improve my workout routine. Thanks for the advice.

Tell me the science then lol.

Just bench press, I do that.

My personal experience is that when I had a trainer teach me he built my core for me. Because I did his ab routine consistently 3 times a week whenever I showed up to BJJ class. I did not do this on my own.

It might be hiring a personal trainer so he does it for you. Get in a program so you can do what those Hollywood actors do.

Honestly it might just be you're not getting gains. I stopped lifting and doing martial arts and years later it's NOW I get gains, oh now I understand what's going on at a purple belt level or in wrestling and boxing and muay thai.

Powerlifting mma and crossfit etc. Are not bodybuilding. Do bodybuilding. It might be a frequently asked question if you peaked or something. Or if you're like me procrastination. Can't recover and gain doing less if you don't work out.

You can overwork and not see gains.

Assuming that you do upper body exercises and are failing to see results you are probably compensating too much with the rest of your body.

When doing lifts do you actually feel the burn in the muscle group you are targeting when you reach failure or do you fail from general fatigue?

Best advice is to lower the weight you are lifting and focus on proper form, reach the point where you can reliably induce the burn in the target muscles and then slowly increase the weight. Just be very conscious of how you are moving the weights, it is incredibly easy to trick yourself with small movements from your core and back.

I wanted to look like Thomas Jane too in the Punisher or those guys in 300 but I could not go to the gym and hit the target areas. When I bench press my arms do most of the work not my chest my chest is not tired or swollen. I can't lift the big boy weights for men either qhen men are doing work so some of this is juicing and testosterone. It just is. I can't sit here and put my faith into say kung fu when it just doesn't work. It just so happens hard work like a retard won't pay off if you don't have the genes or eat to get big. If your body is strong or rubbery you just don't get gains because it did not get bigger from lifting to failure. This is where all the broscience takes over because real science just doesn't back you up.

It depends because the muscles grow on instability and confusion. It's caveman shit if you get that technique perfectly you're just lifting with your bones and frame. Very pussy workout.

The kettlebell however will shake the whole thing. It still is retarded and not lifting dumbbells and barbells

I go to the gym 3 times a week. I work both core and upper body. I am in pretty good shape, as I'm not overweight or anything like that. I lift hella weights. The problem is, I dont see gains. My upper body just doesn't want to improve at all. I tried lifting heavy with few reps and lifting light with many reps, for some odd reason, I just dont see any results. I haven't tried martial arts, but could I learn enough in five months to improve on my current routine? I guess I might need a personal trainer, because no matter how hard I try, I just don't see the gains i am looking for. I seemed to have hit a plateau, my upper body just doesn't want to improve at all. I dont know.....I am willing to try almost anything at this point.

I tried lower weight and many reps, and I feel the burn. It just doesn't cut it anymore. I have increased the weight but even then, my muscles seem to not improve. I just wonder what I am doing wrong.

So you're saying there is no hope for some guys to gain muscle...based on some genetic bullshit. I just dont believe that sorry, there has to be a way!!!.

No, I'm saying if you don't do steroids you're going to get 1/4 of a fraction of gains and then it's gonna disappear into all the fat because I'm still fat. And I did everything correctly in my power.

If your body is too strong from good genetics it may be the case even if you do get tired you recover without gains. Your muscles won't change or get stronger because they could handle the workout.

Some guys just don't evolve that way. But this is broscience.

Say I'm a retard and I do kung fu every day like in naruto and when I get the good shit I continue this pattern with the armbar. Things like that happen.

If i were to lift and got my hard work to put a grain of sand 0.0004 gain the sane thought is there's just nothing I can do about it. Not doing it a lot until I looked like the guys in 300 because I don't know how to appreciate that.

You can go buy into the WWE training center and lift with Brock Lesnar. Ask them if you gotta juice if you're not a natural. Without saying they all do steroids all this natural diets advice and shit is ok what else besides steroids can I do to give myself a heart attack?
The WWE part is not a joke. Go in there or go with the serious bodybuilders.

Upper body muscles are much smaller groups than lower body muscles so you can work them more often. Work your arms every day if you have to. And if you're concerned about the size of the muscles rather than the function then just do a lot of isolation exercises on the arm muscles.

I think you can lose gains too and muscle tone if you stop lifting. You're giving yourself a heart attack. No point in working too much.

So you're saying steroids is the way to go. Sorry man, the navy tests for that shit. I am looking for an all natural way. I am not saying it wont work, but there has to be a better way.

I work my upper body 3 times a week. You think I need to do more? I know too much of something is not good. My muscles need a rest. So should I do something different?

Martial arts toned my legs and core. I did BJJ and muay thai. Lifting a person, a resisting opponent is much better than lifting weights. Then weights might help after you confused your muscles and your evolution as an apex predator

It stands to reason boxing and Grecoroman wrestling will be the ultimate answer for the little muscles and muscles on the upper body. Tyson hit with muscle that's why it sounded like gunshots.

Pushing and pulling an underhook suplexing the dummy etc. Will work your shoulders and arms. Your chest and back as well.

Gotta work that sphincter up, get some butt plugs

Just do something different to confuse the muscles. In MMA circles it's all about wrestling strength and conditioning. Not crossfit not quackery you might get at a bad crappy place or gym with personal trainers that know nothing but actual kettlebell certified guys. This is about getting the real deal sometimes.

I'm actually not supporting steroids this is just a cold hard fact.

I'm for hard work but I'm saying it's a lot of hard work because of how the body is.

I will give it a try. Thanks man, I appreciate the help. Anything is worth a try right now.

I will give it a try, thanks man. I am just looking for actual results from what I have been getting. Any advice will help.

I understand, I just can't use steroids because it will pop up in my blood test. The U.S Military takes this shit seriously. Just looking for natural ways of doing this. I appreciate the advice man.

Don't do roids. Don't give yourself a heart attack or shorten your lifespan.

If you do them once in your life it may be like a soda or alcohol then you can just rest content on the recovery rest gains for the rest of your life for having tried them once and that's it. You detox it but you had it in your metabolism.

Rich piana had muscled up his heart. An enlarged heart. Sure he was big but he's dead today. Died young.

A great body is just not worth it.

Advice is simple. I'm gonna greatly recommend pull ups. Do nothing more than pull ups and variations to get stronger. If you're in the military or a school program I will greatly recommend Grecoroman wrestling. Here's the thing you can't buy into Grecoroman wrestling. It's not like BJJ has a McDonald's in every corner. Do it like randy couture he was in the army he got into Greco for the Olympics.

Wall and stall clinch fighting is a martial art on its own greater than any karate or taekwondo. Most professional fighters don't know how to fight in the clinch. That's a huge untapped hole strategy.

>Navy
>legs and core is
>is
Story checks out

You know /fit/ is a thing right?

Standing military press, lateral raises, seated dumbbell press, rear delt fly, face pulls, trap pulls

Pull ups and milkman carry. Do a lot of hard work like a retard having faith on your armbars.

The basics of the kettlebell is like working lifting bags of cement. It's all work.

I will definitely try grecoroman fighting. I will look it up. At this point, I am willing to try anything. Just to see some gains in muscle is all. Thanks man, you have surely been a help for a future Navyman.

I know, I just spend most of my time on /B so I thought I would ask.

I am working my arms hella hard...just with no gains...it's why I am here.

You can always do MMA sports and boxing but for the most part it's Greco that's hard to get.

My upperbody regime that turned me into mommies 300lb angel was lifting tendies from plate, to dip, to mouth 20 tendies a plate atleast 2 times a day and lifting the mtn dew to my mouth, also get extra in by hitting your whore mom in her bitch mouth when she denies your tendies even though you have enough goodboypoints

I feel bad for the kid. Probably had a gf or something he got cucked and then convinced by a recruiter and PUA toxic masculinity mentality to ruin his life.

I don't know if you can even quit the army correctly legally without deserting. I just know that you don't have to or need to do all that shit.

I would quit. Fuck that. Fuck going straight into fire to be cannon fodder with a bunch of faggots that assrape you at 6 o'clock in the morning. Water in your face time to run nigger. Fuck that.

For forearms do burpees, as many as you physically can, every day.

Do those burpees AFTER you bench and shrug for your shoulders and chest, and remember, high weight, low reps. 5x5

None of this will matter if you don't eat as much protein and consume as many calories as possible. Make sure pound carbs and protein in the morning if, I don't know how they feed you on the boat, but I'm sure you can ask for seconds.

just use more hair gel, fag

He's gonna wish he was this motherfucker

im a pro boxer and cringe every time someone mentions "getting ripped" as a goal. i will not help homos like that.

I don't even think women touch their cunts to chiseled chests and shit. I think they're too retarded for that. I was gonna post a pic but it's fuckin homoerotic

This, it is the Navy after all

>built some traps

That's the Yea Forums I'm looking for...

You need to join an actual club, don't go on the bag without previous training.

You won't get ripped or strong that way but you'll have faster punches.

What do you wanna know? This can't be answered with two sentences.
