His painting ability is clearly more developed than his drawing. He needs more work on his fundamentals. That's MY opinion.

On a positive note, I agree with what another person said about the first painting you posted. I think your drawing needs work, but the subject matter is compelling. You are creative.

I am talented. You are creative. Sometimes I wish I could trade with people like you. Don't give up, with hard work, you can surpass people like me. And fuck you if you'll ask me to post my work, it's not gonna happen. Lots of people think they're geniuses but very few are. Who do I think is very good? John Singer Sargent and Rembrandt are my favorites.

as I said, the technical ability is there but the subject matter itself is really too obvious
and I get it, original compositions are fucking hard to create. anyone can practice and be able to replicate things but you should focus on creating things that don't already exist

nothing wrong with that man. gotta practice and keep making things to get better. I'm just giving my honest opinion and hopefully adding some constructive criticism

fuck it man just make what you want and make a lot of it. that's the best advice I've ever got regarding art from the best artist I know
like I said the hardest part is creating original compositions but you also need the technical ability to achieve that and you clearly know how to depict what you want to show
