What is it like living in a weed legal state?

allowed my county to ban all storefronts so only delivery services are available and they suck
more regulations now, such as a potential charge for something as simple as sharing a joint with someone
the bill was written by people who had no interest or empathy for the industry and it benefits a select group of people who are essentially beginning to monopolize recreational weed
and again, nobody read the bill. they wanted to feel progressive by voting to "legalize" it when in reality it's still far from legal
raids still happen constantly on shops and farms, does that sound legal to to you?

Well raids are going to happen no matter what because it's still federally illegal... that has nothing to do with the state law

States rights is debatable. Until it comes to the supreme court or is federally legalized, any marajuana production/selling is going to get raided

Absolute crap, Don't believe it. Any grower or dispensary that does not follow the state rules is going to get popped. Most growers and dispensaries in California are doing fine. Most of the users who grow their six plants at home inside are fine, so they pay almost nothing and grow some great weed. All those old people who use it for their aches and pains, or chronic illness patients, or people on chemo think it's great. All you need for medical use is a doctor's recommendation which does NOT have to be registered with the government to be valid.

I used to get high every day. I was vaping about .5 grams of ~90% THC every day.

CHS is Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome. I don't know exactly what's going on in my body when it happens, but basically my body reacts very badly to THC. I'd wake up and have really bad nausea and diarrhea and vomit several times an hour. Nausea does not go away. Heart is racing, very uncomfortable, hard to breathe. Also exhausted, because I'm unable to sleep. Eventually all that's coming out is bile. Nausea is so bad I can't even hold down water. A few people have been reported to have died like this, be dehydration and electrolyte disturbance.

Bathing in hot water relieves symptoms temporarily. Must drink cold Gatorade while in the tub, because that's the only time I can hold anything down in my stomach, and I am also sweating from the hot bath. I take this opportunity to sleep.

This phase lasts for 12+ hours. It is absolutely excruciating. I have experienced near death and shock from an accident and internal bleeding. I know what it feels like to be dying. This syndrome is the only thing that is comparable to that kind of excruciating pain.

Having CHS makes it really, really easy to put the weed down

do you think it was weed itself or possibly what it was grown or extracted with? if you were vaping concentrate with such a high potency I have to assume it was distillate which has been known to contain a lot of bad shit in many cases

already used fake piss once and I'm good on paying that much just because I want to smoke weed once or twice a week
it's the principle of it. alcohol is a much bigger problem and I've showed up to work wasted many times with no repercussions

22 year old here. Recently stopped smoking for the sake of clean piss. Figured I'm already over the hump and might as well quit now. Started drinking every weekend. I did try CBD today. I'm actually smoking some right now. It's nice but it made me realize that I'm kind of over weed in totality. It gets boring if you're a daily user.

Yeah, I've realized this. Picked a shitty time to quit seeing as how it'll be legal as of January 1st in my state but it's not like it matters if I'm working at a place where they do randoms. Besides, I want to get my head on straight and move in the right direction. Can't really do my best when my head is constantly fogged.
