i am still here. i tried just doing one wing as a test. the edges are still rough. i'm not sure if it's what you were thinking of. Also there's a problem because the wing natural scale is much smaller than the greta pic, so the wings might get all pixelated. nothing can be done about that.

and the edges of the wings look bad now because i had to scale it up so much, so i have go back and really clean then up to a very fine amount of detail.

Thanks for the test. Suggestions on image size, etc that I should look for? It kinda works but I guess I need longer wings that can extend towards her feet.

i can make the wings bigger but if the wing pic is much smaller than the greta pic, then it starts to look weird. i can shrink greta down to match the wing scale, but in this case that would be a tiny pic because the wings were very small (820x537 pixels, but most of that is background, the wings themselves are much smaller). greta pic here is 1536x2048.

also transparent png or vector graphics version will work best so i don't have to try and carve the wings out of the background. that'll make it look worse. a vector graphics version is best because size isn't an issue at all. but when i go searching for vector graphics images i end up wading through 100s of pages of shit images that people are trying to sell.

I understand and I am searching as well. Thank you for still working on this and I'll post a few that catch the idea along with being closer to size maybe but won't be the transparent nature. This maybe a tall order.
