I like to think I'm decent at drawing. I'll post again with one that I drew while tripping on LSD.
I did this when I was bored at my exes
Not bad, user. I wish I was better at shading.
Thanks user. If I ever do another one I'll have to ad some background shading or maybe some diluted ink like what I usually do for my paintings.
Good shit
Thanks. Your shading and hatchings is pretty cool. I like the texture.
my godzilla haha not great but im inexperienced
Thanks man

"Yo dawg, I heard you like drawings. So we have a drawing of someone drawing a drawing."
Looks cool so far
Not a problem whatsoever
thanks, hopefully i finish it soon!
Work more on your understanding of form and shapes. That will take you to the next level.
Some sketches i shat out in like 30 minutes
Have a mancatcher spider
Yes, I think I too often go in for big drawings like this when i should be working on form and structure like you suggested.
Only been drawing for a month or so, trying to make it a habit.
I shall take your advice though, thank you!!
Any of you faggots watch Drawfee? If so, would you smash Julia as well?
For a month it's very good, respect
Don't read IC and don't take their advice
Here’s my artwork
Buy a pen and paper
Another pic of the finished piece.
Teach me the ways master
Bit tacky, you do sprayart on the streets of Paris?
I can only do pencil, rate please
Or any advice, criticism
Pocket pussy?
But seriously
From reference or imagination? Either way your on your way, good job
Sorry for the other post, I get a bit catty when drunk
I look forward to seeing it and possibly seeing your work evolve if you post more on these draw threads
Lots of work goes into it but spending time on peices definitely pays off
Reference, anything you see that i could do better?
You're still in the early stages so my adviceis still to just keep on drawing and drawing. Draw from life a lot , and don't end up on IC. Don't worry to much. Just draw.
And I definetly don't want to discourage you from doing larger pieces or just drawing what you like, if you don't you will end up technically skilled but lacking in creativity and thinkig for yourself.
Peace, mashallah
You talking to me? or the guy quoted?
Cuz that frankenstein really is a monster lmao
What’s the problem with /ic/?
low res but I did this like 4 years ago
Oh just figured I'd reply to both of you whilst I was at it. Haha thanks I have a fascination with drawing and painting old horror movie monsters.
Very stiff and looks copied from a photo. But what have you done recently?
it was from a photo and I haven't done anything in a couple years
Even in a low resolution that's super detailed. Have any current ones?
???
I meant that your drawing was shit, looking like a monster. You dissing me or not, be clear man
nothing current
Finished today. Drawn with pencil, pens, markers, compass, protractor.
Drawn with eldritch abominations in mind
Open a stand at a new age festival and you will make bank

It's having a good time
Best fetus I've seen drawn
1. Pay to be in the festival
2. Pay to manufacture prints
3. Pay for displays, frames and mattes
4. Pay to get to the festival
5. Pay to haul all that shit to the festival
6. Pay to stay somewhere during festival
7. Set up allowed that shit before the festival starts each day
8. Take down and store all that shit after the festival each day
9. ??????
10. If lucky, sell enough prints to break even
I appreciate your compliment, honest. But my mom was a professional artist when I was growing up and I saw this process over and over.. I have artist friends who go to cons and always wonder why they bother.
It is, I'm sorry
I've ben drinking, your drawing shows skill but is feels held back
I was making fun of you
Post your work
...
meh
If interested feel free to get ahold of me on Instagram for more content.
lmao
So far I've done a lot of live art in Newport OR at the bayfront, Eugene OR at Kelsey square, and usually in a shed or area in my back yard etc.
Speaking of Paris, I could do a commission of it optionally.
PEEP CAPETOWAPE ON INSTAGRAM
Well, don't just sit there! Go ahead and spin your fucking banjohat! You're not going to become a hammertits without a fight, you know!
More of my work:
So far I just do online marketing while shipping the goods.
Burn the top right one, if anyone sees you, pretend it's not yours.

youtu.be
I wish i had the no-ADHD to do that. As it is, there is no fucking way I could manage my own business. I know myself well enough to know that it would be a fucking dumpster fire.
I envy you. My aunt keeps saying "your designs are so marketable" but she doesnt want to be my agent, even though she has run lots of businesses in her life.
Nah I'm good, why you fighting the afghans
Get into corporate logo making
Logos are tricky. They are usually so simple, you never know how many dozens of versions the designers came up with for the business leader to choose from. Pro tip: they always go for your least favorite of the ones you've done.
Mfw I'll never be the next Van Gogh
No more posts? Did everyone cum already?
Pffft it's all good.
There's always room for improvement.
Nagative and positive feedback is important.
Nice sideways post, Van Gokh
I love this and would buy it.
this is souless, it doesnt convey any emotions or feelings git gud
He wasn't discovered in his lifetime either, same as you
I like it baby yeah
Practicing with pen and reference pics.
Absolute brainlet
I disagree. The faces are obviously expressing certain things, but the intentional distortion of the shapes makes them slightly unsettling.
Geiger fan, eh?
ha we meet again my souless nemesis. your shit is overhatched and has no line value, NGMI bruh.
yeah expressing how constipated they are
Definitely am
Goddamn, that is one pissed-off arm socket.

Did you paint that on there? If so what did you use to do so?

Dope as fuck if it's you
>Mfw i get two drunk anons to become friendly with a seagull picture
Thanks man. They're all mine. I haven't been in the studio for a while, though, and my website has been down for some time. Doing other stuff now.
You had a good streak but these feel like Banksy got into pottery
Ah I see. Turned out nicely. I've seen some people use decals airbrush and pinstriping for zippos in the past.
Your opinion has been noted.
thanks! yeah those are nice solutions too, the downside with my technique is that before the coating, the edge of the applied color starts to curl on itself on all sides after a while, so you have to be quick
Hmm?
I'm confused, I can't tell if you're criticizing it or not.
You show no understanding of form and your values are to extreme
Is this a sushi menu?
Yeah I could imagine it's a bitch to deal with. I'd like to paint a zippo at some point but the super small surface is a pretty big challenge to paint.
Ah okay. Any tips for improvement?
Work on form and values, you know how to copy but you need to internalize the skills that go into making an original drawing
exercise with some chinese characters, pen first, then brush. after a while you have built some muscle memory in your fingers for micro movements and small strokes. it takes a lot of focus but i hope this helps!
to get value down, i used to use photoshops threshold value scale to see how the layers produce the difference between dark and light. think multilayered stencils for graffiti and then blending all those layers to make a smooth image.
Thanks man, but it's already been sold sorry
I'll have to try that out sometime. I have a few Chinese calligraphy brushes I use for inking drawings. Got some videos on micro airbrushing that I can use for practicing those exercises as well.
I'm gonna have to figure out focus as well. In a lot of work I've been painting recently I've been trying to find the right balance between hard and soft lines.
you got this bro, always practice!
I like the stencils on your pieces, I used to do something similar. Though I would say work on trimming, and glazing the entirety of the piece so you don't see any stoneware/earthenware.
