Try forensics. It's cop adjacent enough. You'll work in an investigators office. You'll do a lot of field work. It's actually way more fun than being a cop. Testing blood, mapping blood splatter patterns, matching dental records of dead hookers, testing rape kits, with none of the bullshit cops gotta deal with.

Cops actually have incredibly boring mundane jobs. Filing reports, answering calls to domestic disputes, then there's all the harder shit like finding a dead kid that's been raped, pulling a dead baby from a car wreck while the mother is unconsolable because of a drunk driver who won't get the sentence he deserves because he's a rich doctor, so they just bin the case. It's incredibly frustrating soul sucking work with very little actual fun. On top of that, everybody but cops hates you for trying to protect them. But you're the first they call with their bullshit drama because Mrs so and so stepped in a bed of flowers on accident but Mrs nosey cunt won't go the fuck back home until you "do something about it" most cops just end up drug addicts, drunks, or suicidal.
