I had a friend who drank like you. About a half liter to a liter a night. He died this past Sunday after being admitted to the hospital. He spent the last couple months of his life on constant dialysis, a feeding tube and a breathing tube. He was able to get off the tube and then suffered a seizure when he was moved to a different hospital and then died. He was completely yellow, soiled his bedding every day, free fluid all over the place to the point where his feet looked like yellow balloons. He always told me he wanted to die but in those last few weeks he was fighting for his life. Alcoholic hepatitis caused his liver and kidneys to fail on him. He was in hell.

But by the time he admitted himself the damage was too great and he was transferred to Johns Hopkins in Maryland where machines kept him alive way longer than he could have lived without them. I've been dying to try some Yamazaki or Suntory, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
My current fav whiskey is Crown XO, aged in cognac casks. I actually like it better than the twice expensive Crown XR.

Midwinters night dram is some damn good shit though I might add.

Bourbon is another story altogether. I really prefer Woodford. Although I haven't explored the more expensive, higher end, Bourbons much.

Sorry, I'm mistaken....it's the glenmorangie Sherry cask scotch I didn't care for. The port cask Quinta isn't bad by any stretch.

I don't have A beer. My mood varies. Right now I'm drinking a milk stout at room temperature. Guinness is a common. Choice since it's everywhere but I'll take a left hand stout over it any day.
In a hot summer day there is nothing like a mexican beer with a touch of salt and a hint of lime. Canned modelo, fuck yeah.
Special mention to modelo negra for being a good cheap German style dunkel.
