I browse Reddit frequently and this is probably the best answer I've seen. Everyone cares too much about their karma, so it almost always feels like you're talking to the same person. I avoid interacting with anyone from Reddit because they're usually extremely dense. If you want to be funny or sarcastic, you usually have to put an /s at the end, otherwise you get downvoted to all hell and your post gets hidden. Either that or a mod might ban you. You're better off subscribing to subreddits that fit you and staying on your homepage, otherwise you get flooded with retards. But even doing that, you'll still get retards, just not as much.
