geniune question. Is depression a trend, or is it just the outcome of the state of society?
I'm 28yo and suffering from depression for at least 10 years now. It has become such an open topic within the last 5 years that overwhelms me. I dont want to be put into that certain stat when I actually seek therapy. I cant differentiate between teenage posing and actual depression anymore.

Do you do drugs, drink, and or are mormon?

Depression is serious op. Do a journal, excercise, go for walks, workout, job, hobbies, learn something, stay busy, get help

Im not suicidal, Im just tired of society

They keep widening and widening the net to fit people into "depression".
It's not a trend, it's just that more people are categorized this way as the time goes by, and with the presence of social media it is shared publicly a lot more.

OP here.
All the energy I can bring up goes into following my full time job. After that I get home to this disgusting trash ridden place, I cant workout, I cant socialize, I cant clean up. All the little energy goes into not cracking to society.
