I am quitting heavy cannabis and moderate nicotine (both vape and cigarette) usage right now, and I want to cry myself to death. How do I deal with the influx of strong emotions and inability to eat or sleep, and how long will the suffering last?

The suffering will never end, that's just life. And because you're trying to quit two things at once, your dick is going to shrink about an inch and a half.
quitting two addictions at the same time is stupid. that said, when you know that your cravings will subside over time, then you can manage. it ain't going to be this bad forever and will get better faster than you might think.
I was already quitting weed to be more clear-headed for the start of school, and didn't plan on quitting nicotine for a while. As stupid as it sounds, my vape fell in a river yesterday and I decided that I would take the opportunity to drop that habit as well. I'm at the end of day 2 without weed and day 1 without nicotine
OPs gonna have a -.5 inch penis.
Get some gum, you faggot.
Jesus. It makes you less sick so you're not compelled to start up again.
Fuck you.
U sound alot like me that shid last 2 weeks usally but i have not smoked in 4 weeks its still hard to eat
You are such a fag.
Probably a bigger if you were smoking weed.
Stick with it cold turkey after 2 weeks it will be significantly different. Maybe even one week
Just did the same. You need to segment it or you’ll start snapping on people. Cigarette cravings and mood swings can take up to a month. I found about a week off weed, and I was actually happy to not be in a perma haze anymore, curbs your critical thinking. I would say since you’re further into weed, start (cough faggot) vaping again. Worst part is the post vivid weed dreams, I dreamt I relapsed like 30 times
Everything you are feeling will pass. The only challenge after the first three weeks and beyond will be relearning how to feel normal and content without the need of getting high. It takes a genuine, sincere interest in living a sober life from here on out; with time this too will pass. It's not hard, but emotionally, it is. It's worth it. Once you've adjusted, you'll realize how stupid and pointless it was to drown your brain in THC just to feel "high/normal."
third day is the worst for weed. but after that its just normal sober life. Nic is going to be a bit harder but just go cold turkey and you'll be good. ginger candies for the nausea and do exercise to stimulate appetite. you'll be fine.
As someone who just decided to quit weed to try to upgrade my employment status I have to agree with this guy I've worked as a house painter for a long time and customers don't like cigarette smoke so I got used to the gum and honestly it's stronger than cigarettes if you get formula mg then it really does kind of help with the weed cravings 2 but as far as your appetite being fucked and not being able to sleep it's going to take about 5 to 7 days for your physical addiction to subside try to eat healthier food and stay away from that fast food shit another guy on Yea Forums having the same problem I am
Not OP, I had to quite for employment reasons. I felt like it was the only time, I ever truly was able to appreciate life, and now I find it hard to enjoy free time, smoked from 20-25, I just struggle with the idea that I can never do something again. Also high sex was the best. I covet your serenity. What do I do about that?
Good for you OP! Get a hobby like building PCs then play a shit ton of games and you will be fine.
I quit drinking and weed for 3 together when I was 20. It's doable. You just need a strong will to quit and something productiveand rewarding to replace it. After the first month I felt no need to go back. Although, I did stop talking to my stoner friends at the time, which made it 100x easier since they were mostly negative people anyways.
3 years*. I wasn't super addicted but my life revolved heavily around them. Everyone's different though.
Just eat you fag. I stopped smoking daily for years snfbi could still eat. So what you don't have the urge to down a bag of Oreos you pre diabetes fuck.
Just eat it'll fire some dopamine in your little monkey brain. You literally evolved for this.
Find a hobby
I had some weird dreams but nothing crazy. I've had crazier before quitting tbh
Okay, play video games. Jog and think of how much healthier mentally and physically you will be. Not only is your brain trying to manage stress without weed, it's also freaking out due to no nicotine. Get past 5 days and you will be free. Just try to make it through the day, one day at a time. Eventually it gets easier. Don't stop trying to quit. I believe in you.
why would you quit them both at the same time? you're asking for a world of hurt
Probably a month
Why are you quitting? Both cannabis and moderate nicotine are beneficial for your health.

>quitting weed to be more clear-headed for the start of school
Light weight
Amateur stuff. OP probably doesn't even know the difference between indica and sativa, it's all one weed to him.
Enjoy the subtle headaches and never ending rage because you quit nicotine. I had to quit in boot camp and it did not get any better in those two months. I was smoking 2 packs a day back then though
Homeboy probably buys reggie for 20 a G and thinks its top shelf because the dude selling it to his dumbass told him its fire
>What do I do about that?
You stick with it (staying clean), and when enough time goes by, you don't even have to think about it anymore.
Even now, after two years of sobriety, I often feel like I'm just wasting time or not fully enjoying myself no matter what it is that I'm doing. It stems from my time of being high all of the time for years. Feeling bored is totally normal, it proactively motivates us to do something to fix that. Thinking back to how I used to be totally okay with getting stoned and doing nothing with my days, I'm grateful to have feelings of boredom. This is just one example of how your psyche must readjust to life without a drug and only time and sleep help with that.
Good luck.
