I get these things all the time and I brush and use mouthwash all the time. Mouth hygiene isn't the cause.

get a Bayer Aspirin put it on it and leave it there for like an hour or two, it burns the ulcer and will start the healing process, it'll also swell the membrane around it too but that doesnt matter. Ibuprofin doesnt work,tylenol might though?

where yours is will be hard to put an aspirin on and hold it there, but you'll manage. the old persons fix was gargle salt water, but aspirin works much better.

It's a canker sore, similar to a cold sore but not contagious. They fucking suck, but there's a couple things you can use to help with it

Looks like a strep infection. Get some antibiotics and ibuprofen. It will clear up without antibiotics but it will take two weeks. Cough drops ease the pain a bit too. Gargle with salt.
