This chick in pictures doesn't really do it for me but while watching Stranger Things I find she is literally too much of a qt3.14. Like the show is borderline unwatchable because of it.

He could be, you never see him at the end where the machine blows up so he could’ve gone through the hole and be in the upside-down before it did blow up. However they wanna write it they’ve given themselves room to go various different ways

Like when they talk about the “American” they have? That also could be the “father” guy since they allude he could be alive. Plus 11’s “sister” still out there they can make the series go anywhere they want. Hell they could do a thing where hopper has to deal with the creatures influence. Maybe he is in the Russian prison. Could be even just stay dead, which hell I’d be surprised killing off him like they did Samwise Gamgee

Well if he’s in the prison probably not, but if that’s another character like “father” and Jim’s in the upside-down instead the Demogorgon could be messing with him. To get to Siberia he probably had to go through the hole anyways that was still open to escape that explosion, coulda got him then when he was in the upside-down, they can take this show anywhere they want
