that's an interesting "twist" that teleportation usually ignores probably because it's too confusing for most people but... that was the 20th century. these days, we understand quantum connection.

it's quite possible that teleportation can be REAL and that your consciousness, however it is "connected" to your "physical" body will simply automatically be "connected" to the new particles of the teleported body. if this isn't possible, than neither are quantum computers.

I don't think consciousness is necessarily the same thing as a quantum computer. I think if quantum computers had consciousness, and could worry, they might worry about the same thing we do, talking about teleportation
