There's not a whole lot to do there compared to other cities of similar size. It's mainly consumer stores, pool halls, and bars. The beach is fantastic though, whitest sands on earth. I just needed to get out of my hometown and experience other things, also the humidity killed it for me. There aren't dedicated seasons, so it's hot (90-105F) or less hot. Low end is around 50-60F

I've been dabbling in the coke a little too much as of late and won't deny that there's an addiction there. As far as an overdose, I have definitely had some nights where I'm sure I had a mild overdose, if a couple of uncontrollable panic attacks count.

Tried it one time at a party. Took a water bottle and threw some in there, drank it throughout the night. Needless to say, I don't remember half that night. I felt drunk for a bit then nothing. Doesn't really have any bad side effects but it doesn't really have any good ones either.

Also would do it on regular days and just fell asleep at my desk and had people (i guess?) help me to my classes. Messy shit, but after I gained a tolerance there was a tiny window of using them that I just felt so damn good. Kept doing them and now my head shakes violently when I make eye contact with store clerks and shit so I do not advise lmao.

It’s one thing to be around someone who is on “sedating drugs”, benzos, opiates, indicas, even alcohol. But if you are not high and around someone on coke or meth, yikes. I will never forget the time my older cousin and friend were doing lines. Cousin left to “do whatever”. Friend was left to talk to me about mundane shit in a over-exited way. Anybody else getting bored of drugs as they get older? When I was younger experimented with psychedelics and some stims, now I just smoke pot on occasion and drink socially 1-2x a month. Now even on weekends I usually am sober I find. I still browse these threads cuz I find them interesting. I'm 25 btw. Anybody else feel the same?

Yeah it happens. Priorities change and so do your tastes as far as what your intentions are for the day. I stopped doing everything except alcohol for work. I don't so much miss the drugs and being high, but the ability to just get high for hours without a worry

I haven't gone outside the realms of pot because it's all I really need. I've had friends get shot during deals of heavier things, and seen some terrible addictions, so I tend to stay away from everything else.

I think marijuana in itself is just such an interesting "drug". It's got so many different varieties of itself, and they all have different effects. It's the purest and cleanest "drug" out there I suppose, which is another reason I don't go after anything else.

That's not to say I haven't thought about trying ecstasy, and maybe someday I will, if it's good reliably sourced shit.
