What can I do with fridge compressor?
I found one

Ask or . They actually know things.

Compress things.

I asked DIY, they didn't answer.

What can I do with tongue depressors?
I found some.

They make a great vacuum pump

Take two, insert them into throat as far as you can without puking.

You can take it to to metal dealer who will give you a few quid for it

Use the starting cap. For the love of god.

How to solder steel pipe?

Don't. Use vacuum tubing and clamps

Why?
I connected run to live, start to run via switch (door bell button), and ground to common. I plug it in, press door bell, and boom, it runs.
I want to solder 1/4 SAE valves I stole from a friend.

Ah well them my sterling fellow, you need a500 watt electric soldering iron or a propane iron. You will need acid core solder

How does it make cold?

I have butane torch I stole from my friend's wife kitchen. Will it work?

Put it in you anal hole

I tried, it was painful.
It goes brbrbrbr and air thinks it is cold and becomes cold

Is it a little one? Practice on spare tubing. It does take practice

It forcibly expands a special liquid or gas in a sealed chamber inside an enclosed space, then pumps it outside to another chamber and recompresses it. This first part absorbs thermal energy from the air inside, and the second expels most of that energy into the air outside.

Yep, I stole it from tiny fridge. It was 30 years old, and magically still had gas, though not much.
Since R12 is bad for air, I took marker, crossed R-12 and wrote R-600a, so it is legal to vent it in the air.

Heh heh. Good job user. Do I smell a troll?

No.
Btw, why does compressor oil smell that bad?
Wait a moment... Steel pipe is brazed to copper pipe. Can I remove it with butane torch I stole, or I need to steal acetylene for this?
Or better expand somehow 1/4 copper pipe and solder it with 50/50 solder I stole from another friend?

The longer this goes on I feel like you are a qualified AC man.

The compressor adds heat and pressure, which keeps the refrigerant as a gas until the added pressure allows it to recondense at room temperature outside the fridge.
As the liquid goes through the expansion valve it requires heat from the surroundings (the inside of the fridge) to become a gas again, so it takes away the heat and makes it colder. and the cycle repeats

you could probably compress a fridge? Right?

Attach a clock to it, add some wires, black electrical tape and a few other things then leave it someplace nearby a commuter location an watch the police bomb squad come out to defuse it.

oh and after the expansion valve the pressure decreases because its connected to the pump suction and the lack of pressure allows it to expand at a colder temperature

>Hot compressed gas pushed out

I'm not qualified. I just happened to know a friend who is AC man, from which I stole 1/4 valve. And I googled a little bit.
Still don't know if it is possible to remove fucking thing without acetylene, because I will have to borrow this, too big to steal. Or propane, but this is easy to buy.

doubt

How many microns it will pull?

Solder iron will not unbraize. Steal a hack saw

No it's true. Worked for a company that used them for cheap vacuum chambers.

But what about butane torch? Google says it burns at 1400 C

How much microns? They can suck, but they are piston compressors, which means they are not that good.
I think compressor from window AC would be better, but I haven't found one on the side of the road just yet
