First off when you get in the other inmates will ask you if you brought anything in tell them no this is your first time in jail you will be given a pass on that.
Second do not accept gifts from anybody. DO NOT ACCEPT GIFTS FROM ANYBODY. These are not free and if you accept anything you will owe the giver dearly for it. When the other inmates ask if you need anything tell them that you got it handled.

3-5 years is prision. thats diffrent then jail. user i just got home from doing 2 years and i can tell you right now, if you are doing dumb ass shit like that its not gonna be a good time for you. your best bet is to get inside and just keep to yourself. make 1 or 2 friends and stay with them. you sound like the type of punk who ends up getting extorted for all his money every month.
you could always find you a man who will protect you but if you ever come back to your rack and there is a box of debbies on it......you know what you have to do.

Jail or prison? You're not going to be raped in jail or min. security prison. Mostly you have to kill time. Just read a lot and have plenty of money for commissary.
The food will be awful. That'll be the worst part. Just lots of time to pass. Hopefully you can learn something new.
