World music elements is not the same as world music. I could throw together a bunch of good tasting shit and still end up with a foul meal.
Let me explain whats not to like here.
0-20 seconds: obnoxious chopping
20-30: some obnoxious flanger (guitar is ok but its so minor in the mix and it gets effects on it later)
30-50: effects on an acoustic guitar, please stop
50-1:20: CHEESY, hollow, flangered fucking bongos
1:20 to 1:46: more of that obnoxious chopping shit, flanger again
can't even make it to two minutes without more fucking effects. It's such a chore to listen to. Flamenco guitar, 4 on the floor kicks, effects on literally fucking everything.
It's just so cheesy man. I can't kid myself and even pretend to like it.

Effects are on everything in every song, it’s not effects in general it’s the effects they’re using. Acoustic guitar usually needs a limited, compressor, EQ, and reverb. The issue is dumb fuck producers doing dumb fuck shit to the music.

And then the lyrics on that one DMT track: "Doo dee dee, DMT" are literally ingrained into my head because of how shit they are. Right up there with blueface for lyricism.
