I worked a small land business last year and I kid you not, I did see parcels I could have purchased for a few hundred dollars total.

You have to be smart about it and work the system. Look on the county tax delinquent lists and call up folks from there. Offer to pay their outstanding taxes and take the land off their hands. It's out there, but not often advertised.

Quickly get done for not operating with a permit/health and safety certificate ect.

Also if you do get away with it, other food vendors will probably try to fuck with you, that stuff happens all the time.

Its not a bad starting idea though, maybe just buying some whole sale icepops (or something trending) and trying to sell them out of a bucket with ice in parks would be lower risk.

I'd spend about 1750 on a car to live in. Then I would save 50 for food. 50 for gas. 50 for cell phone (service for 2 months unless I need buy one then 1 month for 50) And 50 - 100 for a gym membership where I can workout, shower!!, brush my teeth!!, watch tv, and make Connections.
Finally I'd begin looking for work immediately

Hostel's only usually $20/night for a dorm room, which is cheaper than renting. If you want privacy you can stay in a private room for like $40-50/night.
Most hostels also have volunteer/wwoofing programs where you work like 6 hours a week for them folding towels or mopping floors and they let you stay for free.
