Have you seen the requirements? You can’t eat/drink anything that can influence your brain 12 hours prior, including coffee. Also you have to stay on top of the regulations at all times, meaning constant studying, and you can’t fuck the stewardesses. Fuck that.

My dad was a freight pilot (basically a UPS van driver), and he snuck me along a few times. I saw all parts of that job, and I could totally do that for a living.

It really depends on what you are doing and if you own the plane. I have known a couple of bush pilots that did alright basically being remote couriers and chopper pilots get decent money moving frost off orchards. Both of these are of course dependant on buying your own ride.
