I'm visiting my grandparents and family there.

I learned it so long ago honestly cannot remember. It's mainly daily training, stretches every second you can. If you don't want the hassle just do regular home stuff while spreading your legs to the point where it's uncomfortable but not painful. In a couple of months you will do a split.

In America it is common for ballet teachers and students to hold down a student and force them to do the split, many times resulting in torn ligaments and muscles. What do you think of this practice? Personally i find it detestable
