I don't think I'll ever be purely logical enough to rely only on observations without presumption and judgements. Obviously we can't help but make assumptions, its important to realize when we are though, or at least understand the nature, depth, and limitations of our assumptions. I agree in a way that everything is subjective which is what I think relativism argues, but I think there are hard truths. I think the fear of looking like a fool for having an incorrect thought is pointless and moreso harmful because it means you're less likely to seek out criticism. Probably pick some scientific questions but we'd probably arrive at those based on our personal philosophy.
