People often see this kind of post and they respond with something along the lines of "humanity is smarter than its ever been" or that posting this is some kind of intellectual superiority move.

The truth is, at least in the States, that this movie is absolutely becoming fact. I was in training for my job about 4 months ago and half the class - of ADULTS - could not read with any real proficiency. It was hard to sit there.

It pisses me off that only the bad future prediction shit comes true and not the utopia stuff.
