Lost my cat today Yea Forums. It happened so fast. Within a day and a half she declined so fast. She was only one. They said she had acute renal failure. Coulda been a uti, toxins, or congential, but her kidneys were too far gone to fix. I just got done burying her in the garden. What am i suppose to do now? All the affection i ever wanted came from that cat, even though she was as jaded and stoic as me. Here i am sitting at my desk and i dont want to play video games, watch anime, or even exist anymore. She made me happy and i didnt even have her that long. I havemt felt this emptiness in such a long time and its so horrible.

Sorry user, I’ve been through this twice now, and it is awful. The second time was worse because it was the sweetest kitten. Things are going to feel upside down for a while, but eventually you will start feeling better. It is so hard at first because it feels so raw and terrible, and you don’t want to think of it, but your mind won’t let you escape. This is grief, and it will slowly ease.

Cats are always the sweetest and make the best companions. I remember being so lost when my cat passed. I had loved looking at his face more than mine for a long time. You have a lot of love to give, make sure to give another buddy a chance when the time is okay.

go to the animal shelter and rescue a new cat. you will feel good that you are giving a good life to the new cat. don't think of it as a replacement
