This, exactly this. I was with a girl for years with kids. The oldest kid was ten, and within a year he was a moody, preteen asshole who was a complete piece of human garbage for the remainder of the relationship, and it constantly caused an issue. Just started seeing another girl with kids, but they're all little. Plus, the bio-dad is still around which is actually a *good* thing.

Dating girls with kids is a pretty great situation if you can find a "good" one. They're more appreciative of a dudes personality, are usually amazing cooks, and are down to just hang out at home and chill instead of always wanting to be taken out and spoiled, which saves your wallet. And, sexually speaking, they are almost always complete freaks.

Most don't even want a "replacement dad," most just want a dude who will not be a piece of shit to the kids, will understand that the kids will always come first, and will at least be somewhat of a positive influence in their lives.

I grew up with a really close childhood friend whose parents got divorced and his mom kept custody over him. she found another man while he was still in that rebellious teen phase and oh man did he have a fucking problem with that. developed a really bad attitude towards everyone around him including his mother siblings and pretty much everyone except his really close friends, ended up trying to kill himself like 4 or 5 times somewhere down the road he was really fucked in the head.

also this girl that i had mentioned with the 2 kids had a "step father" in her life too so i know she comes from a broken house hold and is fucked up in the head at least a little. you can ignore like 1 or 2 red flags at most but the red flags were pretty much everywhere

I'm one of those two posts. My parents have been married my entire life. They're literally the happiest couple I know. My brother is dead. My sister is a NEET at 37 which just disgusts me.
