As much as I love Undertale, I definitely think it is overrated.

CTR was crap back in the day, it still is now but worse with Microtransactions.

Goldeneye is also up there (Perfect Dark surpassed that shit is every way).

It was a good game, definitely liked the first one (except the ending part) and the company behind it did some good parts on innovating new concepts and incorporating them in FPS.
BUT the way the internet collectively pissed its pants about it and the following portal series was just ridiculous.
The gunplay seemed empty, the pistol, for example, seemed like a pea-shooter.
The characters and story seemed like they were grabbed from a shallow hollywood sci-fi-series. Definitely not fit for a hard-sci-fi-book scenario. This wasn't expected of the game of course, but it was what is what sold as on most review and community sites.
Lots of concepts were directly taken from other Series/Games (Facehuggers, "Zombies", Tripods, etc.) but people acted like Valve invented a new wheel.
The game itself was repetitive as fuck.
Overall it was a good and fun game, but way way overrated.

Overrated games threads are just retards wanting attention for how they have unpopular opinions.

It was good. Didn't like the story, but i tried doing every quest, needed my WRPG fix. Even had me coming back 35 times or so until i managed to come out on top with the Adra dragon.
But it was way overhyped. ESPECIALLY the social marketing for/before the release 2nd one. There was no way that was organic. The game just didn't have enough reach and to offer for the way it was sold.
Compare it to Pathfinder:Kingmaker for example, that game has it's own problems and "timed" main quest, but easily pushes aside something like pillars.
Pillars (2) was massively overmarketed.

Haven't played PF yet, so I can't really tell ... Would you recommend it ?

Sorry man, i haven't either. That whole artificial hype surrounding it turned me off. The steam reviews confirmed some suspicions i had.
Maybe DLC, patches, etc. fixed most of it by now, but you only can polish something to a certain extent.
Don't let that turn you off though, it's just speculation.

I still like zelda but ocarina is kinda stale game feels simple and more of a chore to play now but then again I was playing it since I was six

I also just bought heart gold recently and I'm very...underwhelmed. some say it's one of the best in the series but that's probably just because there's basically a second campaign.
Beat crystal for the first time about a month ago thought this would be a step up but, not really. I just don't have the patience or endurance for this game.

A lot of value of this game came from demonstrating what FO3 could have been if Bethesda hadn't Oblivion'ed it up.
