tall woman doesn’t have the same connotation as trans woman. a tall woman still describes a woman, whereas a trans woman describes the transition from male to female. if the person wants to be considered female by way of transitioning, it doesn’t make sense to call them a trans woman when the goal is to be a woman, it’s like you’re calling them a mix between man and woman, and not just woman. if the ultimate goal is to change from male to female then wouldn’t it make sense to just call them women? it’s self-defeating
