I recently started rewatching the 2003 anime
You can tell even though they had a small butget.
And had little of the story to work with
They put alot of love into it.
And I dont think the story they made formthe end was all that bad.
The big villain had a bit to be desired tho.
Also of course the soundtrack is fucking Gold

Voice acting is real bad, in the first few episodes, but at least Seras improves alot by the end.
I like they way they rendered Seras she seems more contemplative, scared, and frustrated with her situation.
I feel her character is more grounded.
Also like how she is more independent, and will go off and do things on her own.
She got alot more character development in general.
Although Ultimate/manga seras is great too.
Like to think of her as a bit of a mix of both renditions I guess
