Hey any medfags around?
I currently have a painful right side of my jaw (The mandible) and if I do open it, I get a small popping feeling, not present on my left side.
It's more painful when I open my Jaw vs when I clench my teeth. Any suggestions? I can answer questions as they come.
Hey any medfags around?
Will bump for answers, currently looking for a walk in clinic near me
Bump, my leading suspicion is I ate something a little too hard to chew, but I'm not 100% sure if that's the case
Bump
Bumping
Bump.
Anyone?
Are your teeth healthy?
Yeah mostly, I brush day and night and I'll floss every other day. The pain sprung up over the past few days
You dead nigga
Try ur local doctor fucking retard
pulled your muscle and have air in it or articulations exist. stop sucking dick and let it heal
Tips? like a cold press or something?
lmao confirmed
When did you last get a tetanus shot?
About a year ago, I know it's not lockjaw, but thanks
Sounds like TMJ. Google that shit.
Try moving it more in various directions (left right, forward back). Feel over it (esp. compare to your left side). Any tightness? Lumps?
I've had problems with jawlock and tension before, but they were quite temporary isolated incidents.
If it lasts a while or gets worse go to GP
1. ear infection drink some hot tea and rest, if not better in 24h then emergency clinic
2. strain from sucking so much cock
3. TMJ go to dentist and get a bite plate for sleeping, the clicking is common with this and it's a lifelong problem
4. AIDS from #2
probably 2, but I had 1 over the weekend and it felt fucked up all down my neck and up in my head.
I've had the pain for roughly three days now, I don't feel any lumps, I feel more pain when I shift my Jaw to the left but it's not too bad, just when I open my jaw I feel the pain then the popping sensation
I feel like it may be TMJ, I just wanted to see if medfags might have any other ideas
Don't WebMD, they'll just tell you that you have cancer
>three days
Not too bad, keep an eye on it, keep moving your jaw and stretching it, do it slowly! I'd say give it 2-3 more days to go away then go to GP
I appreciate the help, is there any type of pain meds You'd recommend for any discomfort?
Tylenol should help with muscle pain, joint pain however I'm not sure.
My tmj's click pretty much all the time but only occasionally have pain. Usually I have to work the jaw until it clicks properly into place (a more substantial pop than normal) and then it starts to feel better. I dont take any meds for it though
probably tmj, real common
Thanks for the advice everyone, I took some advil and I put an icepack on it, if it gets worse, I'll head to the GP in a few days.
TMJ, faggot.
You’re grinding your teeth, probably while you sleep. You’ve developed mild TMJ dysfunction. Buy a boil and bite mouthguard and use it at night. Do massages on the joint for 5 minute intervals three times per day.
