First?
Kill yourself.
no u
Yeah
I also like how other anime have taken similar ideas and tried to conceptualize how it would affect a real person. If they were put in a situation where they were turned to a monster.
It's almost a trope
But I'm kindof taking that ideas and running with it.
hello hello, I love you all
Cool art
Aegis claimed.
(Colbert)
I will later. I don't really have the money for the books and such at the moment.
Get off Yea Forums dumbass
Oh yeah, you have to have books and shit. You chose a complicated hobby my guy
the artist is nice
So if two super subs want to cyber, they have to go to Subway
Interesting
Wanna trade nudes?
Oh, sorry for asking for your name and not telling you mine; most people call me Erio cause I didn't always post this avatar, but you can call me whatever :3
Hard day at work?
Hi cutie, how u
Is Interview with the Vampire valid in that way or is it not manly enough?
This
Rude isn't allowed
Not complicated, just expensive. I already know how to play it, but the books have a lot for character creation that I need.
Of course.
Alright sounds good. And yeah you could say that. It's been pretty busy and annoying recently.
I liked playing D&D
Sort of moved on from it.
I was one of those guys who would make a backstory the length of a book.
Definatly made some unique characters though. I think that may have helped me develope my character writing skills.
I think Luka is onto something with the Subway
But if they weren't complicated then why couldn't you just make them yourself?
I've never tried it. I think it might be fun but idk I don't have anyone to try it with and I'm too much of a shut-in to go find some
Checked. Not great, not terrible.
I always preferred keeping characters pretty simple and building them over the course of the game.
Oh no, building a character isn't too complicated, I just can't memorize all the skills, traits, feats and spells. It's just a lot of information that you need.
There's a free rulebook in PDF, enough to get you started
dnd.wizards .com /articles/features/basicrules
Sit down and collate it into your own book, it'll give you something to do
What do you mean?
Don't let the D&D play you, you play the D&D
Real talk tho idk how else to explain it so have some nonsensical nonsense
I'll look into it.
Kindof embarrassed tomsay that Tokyo Ghoul was one of my inspirations. It's honestly pretty shit, but I liked it premise.
Basically I took the premise of human predators living among a greater human society and ran with it.
In one of the major settings instead of the human soceity trying to kill all the monsters, they have become a sort of warrior class, that fights wars for the nobility and aristocracy.
They almost turned into something like a viking warrior clan with it's own code of honour and stuff.
So, colbert.
Ya like jojo?
Alright then. I'll ignore your advice I suppose.
Never seen it. Looks weird. Might like it if I tried it, idk.
Yeah, that's probably just a good idea in general tbh
Checked. Also, D&D sounds like fun, but I never had anyone who'd be interested to play.
Yeah I tried that and they would just end up being me by the end. Needed to put more work into it to make it all that much fun to RP
I've pretty much got the same feeling on it. Cool, but like... effort
Met some people at UNi who play it and havent stopped since.
The hardest part is trying to find a DM, they need to do 10x the work and half of it is done on the spot.
I always had determined a personality, it's just that their story was basically the story of the game and they'd grow as it progressed.
That honestly seems like one of the most fun parts, just directing the madness
Adventurers League. They're big sessions held at local game shops. The WotC website has a page that tells where to find meetups.
Well I got to go
Goodby everyone
Night yo
It's difficult to do properly. I tried a few times, but I don't think I'm very good at it.
I was thinking about trying one of those.
What skills do you need, patience or creativity or..?
I'd like to try it out, I don't mind having to learn stuff, but I never had any nerd friends apart from one guy who's a star wars freak but that's it.
Nowadays you can search stuff up online so being a DM wouldn't be that hard I think.
It would be weird for me, playing with strangers I just met.
Last dubs from you then, see you later.
Both. You also need to be a pretty decent writer.
youtube.com
Go get some screengrabs out of this shit in case you start playing it some day.
Go on, you know you have nothing better to do.
cope-chan why do you hate me
Is there such a thing as a Star Wars D&D like campaign thing? Oh who am I kidding it's Star Wars, there's a Star Wars version of fucking everything
I feel like I'd be pretty damn good at it tbh
And compromise this folder? It's been with me since like 2012
I mean I GUESS I could make a sub-folder or something
Subfolder's a given, it's for a special occasion.
I don't really know what you mean by that.
Maybe. It takes a lot of practice. A lot of people have the issue of being too controlling over a group, others don't control them enough.
...perhaps I may consider it.
I feel like it's just give people enough control to be creative but not so much that they break the game. But I guess I'm oversimplifying it having never played
The plus side is, nobody you know will see you screw up
I don't know about D&D specifically, but there are some Star Wars RPGs that use their own system
Yeah, star wars is a real cash cow. I don't know how to feel about it anymore, I'm not a fan but I enjoyed the older movies.
Before to be a good DM you had to have good knowledge on the game, the rules, etc. But nowadays you can search this stuff up on the internet. So I feel like getting a DM wouldn't be that hard nowadays.
Forgot piture
Call it Star Wars B&B8
It's very complex, really. You need to make sure to take good notes, especially when you improv. I don't think it's something that comes easy to most.
It's not just knowing and interpreting the rules. There's a lot more to keep track of.
tbh I thought it was mostly shit until Hayden Christensen showed up
Call me the DM prodigy then
I am so fucking confident in this right now
Why would I?
Only one way to find out, I suppose. The question is: Do you have the strength to wipe a level one party and crush all their hopes and dreams?
you never speak to me and you never added me to play~
Guess that's a plus, yeah. I would still be uncomfortable playing with people I've just met. But, being outside your comfort zone is the best way to develop yourself. Maybe I'd go and try it out someday.
Oh okay.
Yeah episodes II and III are my favourite, despite what people say about part III.
Play what? I have nothing to talk about.
I would get nothing but joy from that tbh
The prequels are meme factories, that much is for sure. They're fun in their own bad way
you and I were supposed to play together, daddy...
There's a bit of an unspoken rule that sometimes it's better to lie a little about what you roll.
I tend to prefer making things dramatic rather than just saying "Oh, rolled a 20, you die instantly."
I'm all for manipulating things for maximum fun, so I think I could do that
You may be good at it then. I still think you'd need a bit of practice to fully get it, but you wouldn't be terrible.
Yeah I don't think anyone is just instantly good lol
I would definitely like to try tho!
Not only that, I legitimately enjoyed the plot. It was a good concept with mediocre execution at times.
I always thought that if you were there to play D&D, and the other people are there to play D&D, you're probably enough alike to become friends. At least some of the people there
Some DMs do like to leave everything to chance, Ben aka Puffin Forest DMs without a screen and just rolls in front of everybody
why does she judge us so
Well, you could run a group of people from here, if you really wanted. If it's everyone's first time, then we can all learn together!
There's pros and cons. I personally tend to softball it most of the time. Dying to a random crit in a trash encounter just doesn't sound fun to me, but if you do something blatantly stupid, you will risk death.
Bosses are different though since there's a lot more tension in those fights.
>at times
That may be the world's biggest understatement lmao
Who knows, I could do a bit of both and keep people guessing
Hmmm.... I may think on that. That might actually be really fun
It can be. You should be able to find the DM guide and Player Hand book online. I'd read those before you decide.
Will do! I can't guarantee it'll be soon tho, I'm a huge procrastinator lol
Sharing an interest is indeed the right step towards friendship. I guess I'm just pretty shy around new people.
I haven't watched any of those films in ages now, but I'm pretty sure they weren't that bad. Like the fight scenes were very decent.
Nice digits.
They were THAT bad.
Of course. I don't know if you'd be able to find a group quickly anyway.
Thanks, I tried my best.
Not lovebot.
claiming mai poster
I do know someone who does it fairly regularly, could bring them in maybe
I guess I'll just have to rewatch them. Some day, maybe...
You always try your best.
You will most likely be disappointed, unfortunately
I am unsure how I am supposed to convince you, friend.
Somebody that DMs or just plays as a character?
That's all I ever can do.
You know, I'm not actually sure. I'll have to ask
Alright lads. I'm off to bed, see you in couple hours.
Do you remember when you asked me what to call me some days ago? What was the name?
Shut the fuck up
nigger faggot, tfu
