Getting a little tired of finding graphs for you. I can already tell you is that it will show shootings decreasing outside of a weird 1990-2000 spike (actual cause was gangs response to laws intended to stop them) and the gun deaths will be a higher percentage suicides the farther you go along. Besides, I don't think it really matters how you murder someone and what's more the jihadis already have shown us that if your intent is a suicidal attack guns are like B tier next to trucks and suicide vests and those weird bombs they make that can be anywhere. If I wanted to mass murder I would not be fiddling with a gun, I would accept that I would die during the attack or end up in prison wishing I was dead, I would definitely be trying to figure out how to make or get explosives.
These attacks always reek of someone wanting people to be terrified of guns but I think pipe bombs with trip wires possibly popping up anywhere is far more actually terrifying, it would accomplish the goal of terrorism faster. That pressure cooker bomb guy fucked more people in the head than any of these AK-spamming fakes.
