I dated a couple gamer girls, it didn't work out because I'm a casual.
But I can give you the little bit of advice I know about the subject. It's not great advice but it worked for me.
1) I always picked them up where they work. One was a barista, one worked at a fast food place, one worked at a grocery store. All of them were under 21.
2) I always flirt with the girls a little when I am out. Usually just saying something like "Any plans for the weekend?" If you ask that first it doesn't seem like you are hitting on them just making casual conversation. And for some reason gamer girls LOVE to tell you what they are playing.
3) This is great because in my, once again, limited experience I've noticed these girls don't go out much. They'd rather be home on their Playstation than out in the real world meeting people.
I know this isn't great advice, but it has worked for me in the past.
