Has anyone actually gone to the backrooms before? If you have can you please tell me of what it was?

Wtf are you talking about OP?

There’s been rumors of these areas,
The Backrooms.
They’re these dirty humming light rooms connected by halls and mostly empty areas.

The thing that makes it interesting is that they do not exist on our plane.
They are some kind of ripped entry way into cryptic astral planes that are mostly mysterious and dangerous.

Some say that the only way to find one is by accident in a random area.

Others say it is just a story.

what do you mean by more?

"They do no exist on our plane"

Shut up faggot I thought it was gonna be something cool

No but I’m pretty sure David Lynch loves to feature them in his movies,

It is cool but kind of spooky

The idea is that anyone can enter but it can be hard to leave if you lose your entry way.

There have been Yea Forums posters who have claim to have gone to them and come back.

If you’re not interested that’s fine.

post more

Also did I forget to mention that unknown beings roam the back rooms?

No one knows who or what they are or what they want, but they’re there.

It is said that if you hear something moving, pray that God will save you, because it sure as hell has heard you.

Okay

The general idea is that the back rooms are super natural areas that are not effected by our plane of existence.

Time doesn’t move the same, space is distorted, and beings not known to us roam the rooms.

You never know what you will find,
Or if you will ever make it out alive.

I have premonition about a ball rolling on a vivid plaid surface. The ball is a stainless steel looking bearing. I've known this since I was a little child before I could read.
I don't know what it is

So I could open the door of my bathroom and instead of the regular place I find those rooms?

Interesting.

Anything else that you saw?

Kind of yeah

90% Of the time it’s been found in emptier parts of largely empty public establishments, like old malls, office buildings, and sometimes even stores what not.

In theory though, they could technically appear anywhere.

There is a game based on this

It's more of me looking at it happening. I feel very small compared to what ever it is I am seeing.
But its more of a feeling I can feel...i still feel it every now and then, but it's not as strong, or clear.

That’s an odd one.
Never heard of this one.
Spread this to /x/ if you can, this needs to be seen/heard of

I guess..i never really go there. I'm more of a Yea Forums tard. Or /pol/ lack

Rumor has it, if you find your way into one of them, Laura Palmer will give you head.

Interesting. Why would such a thing as a transdimensional waiting room look like a man-made room? It could theoretically be anything. It could be a cave. Is it because it is actually produced by our own minds?

I'd guess that it was a man made room that slipped out of our dimension.

I was in a very similar place in a dream once, maybe a year and a half ago. What's scary is that it was one of those dreams where you remember EVERYTHING. If I hadn't "woken up" eventually, I might have actually gotten it mixed up with my real memories.
Being there was beyond horrifying. At first, you're not sure WTF is going on, 'cause like any other dream, it just sort of throws you into it, and you passively accept what's going on. But after having a chance to become "conscious" of my surroundings, I became really confused. I started going around hallways and open rooms, (the sizes changed constantly), but there were never any doors or windows or anything. Just a dimly-lit labyrinth of walls, lights, and the occasional piece of furniture.
Time felt like it passed at a slower rate too. I don't even know how to describe it. It just felt like I was there for a really long time. And all the while, I shit you not, there was a tune almost EXACTLY LIKE THIS playing from God knows where: youtube.com/watch?v=adaTEdqR4xI
Thought that was worth mentioning cause of the similarity between and the album art, but probably just a strange coincidence.
After you're there for what feels like maybe an hour(?), you start to become overwhelmed with dread. Like you're in an eternal limbo, that's neither life nor death, and there's just no way out. It's the worst feeling in the world.
At random points in time, someone I knew IRL would appear behind me, or just "be there" suddenly, like my best friend, my girlfriend, and parents. It'd always just be one person at a time though. What threw me off though, was that they would always be completely unfazed by where we were. They'd be smiling, talking to me, laughing, and it wouldn't have been so bad except for two things: when I would attempt to mention anything about where we were or how to get out or whatever, they would just stare at me. Like, still smiling and stuff, but they would just pause, and stare...

[Cont. from ]

...until they'd either bring something completely irrelevant up, or I'd say something else to transition the conversation. Shit was super unsettling. What sucked the most too was that eventually, the person you were with would say some weird shit about wanting to "keep moving" or sometimes they'd just say "user, follow me!", and they'd just start running through random doorways until you eventually lost track of them and they disappeared. Even back in the dream, I always felt like trying to follow them when they did that was a bad idea, like I wasn't supposed to or something. But it SUCKED, man. You feel like you're completely alone in this empty void of rooms, with this ominous fucking old-timey music playing making you feel like you're stuck in a time loop or some shit, and in the rare instance someone you know or love shows up, it ain't even the person--it's just some weird fucking entity that looks like them but either has no awareness to what's going on around them, or selectively chooses to avoid acknowledging it in any capacity whatsoever. Then they leave. They always leave. And they try to take you with them.

I don't even know how I "woke up" from that dream, like, I don't remember the exact place I was in the dream when it happened. But I'm really fucking glad I did, and I can only hope no such place really exists in this world, or beyond it.

Fuck, man.

So we live in something of a simulation. Not exactly matrix style. The simulation is entirely for pleasure. What better vacation from your life than to live an entire different life. I told you that ti tell you this.
Most things are made up of cells. Cities, forests, large building interiors. That's why you suffer from environmental dejavu. Feeling like you've been in a place you've never been.
So there are more commercial buildings in the world than anything else. The majority of which are built in western style. The back rooms are just unused untextured cells

Me and a few friends have been on "backroom hunting trips". It's only been a few so far but we want to get equiped on the off chance that we find a way in. We're mostly checking old buildings that have rumored "disappearing rooms" but I want to start routing around in places that people refuse to enter as well.

I had something similar as a child. A recurring dream that wasn't a dream.
It happened while in a sort of sleep-state, but I was actually awake just pacing around my room.

My dream was of an innumerable amount of pins (thumbtacks), each with a red head.
It started with only one tack that would be suspended in the air until suddenly it fell and bounced on a flat marble floor. This all took place in a large open atrium that felt like an indoor space but had no perceivable walls or ceiling. The pin would reset but the number would double and this would happen ad infinitum. Soon there was a sky filled from horizon to horizon with pins, all waiting to fall. And when they did the noise was fucking catastrophic.

Symptoms are parallel to yours.
- Not physically there but watching
- Feeling extremely small
- More of a feeling than actually viewing.

As I say, I was in my room walking around with my eyes open, but I could feel this impending repeating process going through its phases. I would dread its beginning even though 1 pin wasnt very loud I knew it would get worse.

Ironically, The Caretaker seems like the perfect soundtrack to this kind of story.

This is very interesting, thank you for sharing

yep got similar dreams as a child, they often included a ball. the first one i had was a huge ball made out of what seemed like rubber bands? rolling over a carwash that was across the street from where i lived. i had more, but it wasnt a reoccuring dream they were different each time. and they got more abstract as time went on. i had the feeling of dread (apparently i would whimper in my sleep), not there but watching something, and yes it was more like a feeling than it was actually seeing anything. and it felt like size was... a fluid concept ig? idk how to explain it, i just remember feeling incredibly small

I cannot really remember specifically where how I know what that is. I just know it.
Very similar to being in church for the first time. Nazarene church. Seeing people laying at a alter, crying, singing songs, start crying. I wasn't even in school yet. But I remember not wanting to buy into that. But I know god is there. I feel him, like I feel and see that ball rolling on that plaid surface.
Just like tou say though, no walls, nothing really just that ball rolling, and me being small, like minutely small.

Some nigga who didnt know where he was going stumbled into a vacant office or under construction room and didnt know where he was. There is no such thing as another plane or magic doors. Stop being fucking 2.

I did once. When I was very little.

My mom was the regional vice president of a large optical company that was based out of the malls in California.

When I was very little she would take me with her to the stores. I was a obedient child so she would let me look around the store while she worked as we were never there for long.

There was a day I encountered a half open door that I thought led to another part of the store because it had mirrors in it that were the same type. It wasn't.

Stfu dumbass know it all nigger. How do you know they dont exist? Dont make assumptions about things you have no clue about. Fucking shithead Yea Forumstard.

I went to the backrooms once in an old masonic temple.
I live in a small town and our downtown area is a victim of the businesses migrating closer to the highway.
My dad was able to get cheap rent in an old building downtown for his camcorder rental startup. His office was on the 5th floor.
Sometimes at night he would have to go back to his office to get some paperwork or do some sort o business thing, i dont know i was a kid.
The elevators were old and there were two. One was manually operated and the other was mechanized, but rickety as hell. you had to manually close the "doors" whick were just foldable grates.
As a kid i hated the elevators. I finally convinced my dad to let me race him up the stairs as he took the elevator.
The stairs were the only lit area of the building and as such they were spooky as hell. Still preferred them to the elevator. I would run up them and keep count of one dark floor after the next.
I chose to race my dad down the stairs one day. I ran past two dark floors and ended up in a poorly lit third floor with no stair continuing downwards. I was confused because i went down the same stairs i came up.
i wandered the halls of a floor that seemed similar to the one my dad worked on, but it was about 10 years older. like the same decor, just aged 10 years.
there was a loud bang. like one from those big fireworks. ones that make your chest vibrate and you feel more than you hear.
I ran to where i thought the elevator might be and instead found stairs.
I flew down them to the lobby at the ground floor level.
The elvator doors opened and my dad smiled at me and told me he was impressed at how fast i could make it down the stairs.
I learned later as an adult that it was an old masonic temple. used to do wierd dances to where old respectable men of the community would dance with young teenage girls to teach them how a man treats a woman.
wierd small town.

Take your meds you crazy idiot.

Fake and gay

I won't spend a whole bunch of time talking about it because my memories are fuzzy and the missing child information released during that time has the potential to dox me.
>RP faggot
Yeah that's fine

All I remember is the distinct smell of leather like new shoes in the women's department store. Amplified to a nauseating degree. And the heat. I feel like it got hotter and hotter but it might have been me just getting more and more scared as a little kid.

as kids we have seen these kinds of elements and kind of mishmashed them in our head, so we feel some level of nostalgia seeing something we never saw

>, but they’re there.

How the fuck do you know? Some say.

Someone told me a story in the 80's like the backrooms.

Is that actually part of the theory? I'm the guy who posted , and I'd sometimes see people I knew IRL there, but you could just feel something "off" about the way they acted. Maybe those were the "unknown beings" in this case?

Too many fucking coincidences. Lol
