It seems like most authors who write with underage characters have their own websites to host their work. I'd really rather avoid that, but if it's the only option I suppose it wouldn't be too bad. It's just a matter of getting attention to it at that point. The benefit of hosting on a site dedicated to such is that there's a built-in readership of sorts.
