Sugar is a drug

Support your local farmers instead. Buy directly from them, and forget the items on the shelves. Grow your own produce.

Aw yes I forgot I grow all my food in my gigantic 300 acre garden that I can afford.

I hate to drive three hours everytime I want a snack, I buy eggs fruit and veggies, but compare that to anything with sugar, its more filling and cheap.

i'm sorry you can't start a diet monster orchid. you don't need a fuckton of property to grow your own shit, harvest wild rice, or hunt for meat.

>Is sugar addictive
This is objectively true and not up for debate. More than drugs is a stretch, so it's an unfair comparison, but even drugs are addictive because of the chemical reactions it causes in your body.
We're biologically designed to seek out sugars fats and proteins. It's our primary fuel. If you find a food that's a trove of sugar your brain will start saying "keep eating that shit!" And you'll develop cravings. It's just how it works because evolution didn't design us with modern food manufacturing in mind.

As for companies being forced to reduce; your choice of *force* is unfair. There should be regulation, most definitely. I wouldn't want to see candy and cake and other delicassies eliminated, but maybe have it a lot more clear what is high sugar and what isn't, and maybe have certain food types a no go zone for high sugar content.
I should only find high sugar or carbohydrate content in foods I can reasonably expect, like junk food, bread, and what have you.
I can't remember any examples off the top of my head right now and for that I'm sorry, but I can tell you there are plenty of times I'll be eating what I think is a pretty nutritionally reasonable product in terms of sugar content until I read the nutrition label. It's jaw dropping what sometimes you'll find has a shit tonne of sugar added to make the food more appealing.

Live in a city my guy all I can hunt is fat pigeons, and even fatter amerimutts who all eat sugar, so an endless cycle.

>Live in a city
if you're talking about one larger than say 100k, why would you do that to yourself?

You cannot make these claims unless you yourself grow your own produce and hunt for your own meat and do totally fine.
I get the feeling you read something on the internet and wildly accepted it as right without thinking about how fucking difficult and unsustainable it would be for most people to do this.

No choice, i have school once im done with college life will change probably.

i grow potatoes, tomatoes, squash, maize, i gather raspberries, elderberries, and mulberries. i harvest wild rice, i fish, i hunt. while it is unsustainable for most people to do this, we are pretty unsustainable with how we are doing business for mass food production currently.

so lets hear it mr chad in the woods how do we solve the sugar crisis

teach people proper eating habits?

well what about the 80% of foods that have sugar in them kinda hard to avoid no, and what about fucking everyone else who eats themselves so that they could roam the sea as blue whales.

Also in schools kids are taught that in health class so thats a pretty shit option.
