Not really, but getting there. Hot inside and i've got a cold, about to take various medicines which will relax me. Going to the beach tomorrow to look forward too.

Change of scenery. I need to move someplace quieter and colder. If stuck in the same place for too long, i just get stuck in a rut. Probably about time to move on again.

Sometimes I doubt my own senses about how fortunate I am now. For comfiness, I lack nothing, to the point of sustained disbelief. Much as I miss the amazing and capable people of Chicago, the most underrated city on Earth from the standpoint of safety and survival for the lame and charmingly articulate, west of it is one of the best regions on the planet for quiet stability, comfort, and scenery that, while not quite photogenic, in the sense of spectacle, has to be experienced to appreciated. It is other-wordly, yet ordinary, at the same time. I could never do justice to it in words, and am wickedly gleeful that it's as permanently well-kept a secret as it is. The old gal next door, who is 80, agrees with me on that, if obliquely: In few other other settings could wit of the present and memory of long past so harmoniously combine. So much for my terabytes of archives, because without personality rich in instant variety as hers, they would mean nothing as far as pleasant substitutes for company goes.

This is my comfy. I work a high stress job surrounded by loud machinery and the elements. This little old house is my cocoon, shut off from the rest of the world. I love the way the sun shines through the windows during the day. The textured walls, high ceiling, and worn wood floors surround my tired sofa that's followed me through sever moves across the US. In here I can be myself and completely relax. I hope every one of you has a comfy place like this to call your own.

In your comfy abode, put together with rather nicer and neater taste than mine, you look so frail and little in that pic. I'm a gimpy, formerly twink gen X manlet who has never worked anywhere for long except in regional malls and offices. I'm a massive, if self-conscious, egotist, yet I envy anyone who is physically gifted enough to do a trade. I have one kind of freedom, which is that of charm.
