It's 2019, no one is getting fucked over by weed these days, at least in the USA. It's legal in a few states, and we'll over half the states have easy medical programs. It's cheaper and generally more potent, and you can buy seeds online and start growing yourself with a few hundred in equipment.

Are you kddingl? A "baggie" is 3.5g. You can roll three fat joints with that amount, or maybe four "normal-sized". If you're smoking less than a gram, you're smoking less than a whole joint.

Cannabis does not make you paranoid. If you're paranoid, it will amplify it almost assuredly. I know people who are anxious, stressed out piles of mess and they would probably drive safer if they smoked (a reasonable amount of) weed before taking the wheel. In their normal state, they are so scared of driving that they take 0 risk, will not engage in an intersection, will stop on an on-ramp because they failed to merge or yield properly, all situations that can be dangerous to other drivers and pedestrians.
