I'm going to share the story of how i made 1100 dollars in a week once.

First, read online and find out how to identify sterling silver, and other grades of silver, and gold.
then go around town on your day off and hit every thrift store and garage sale you can find. Look for antique silverware and dinnerware. candle holders, plates/platters, jewelry, etc. belt buckles, whatever. haggle with everyone, ask garage sale owners if they have any broken jewelry. i got a couple watches (just the band was broken on one, and the other one just needed a battery and were 14k gold. take all your winnings to a local gold/silver store, or if you have a refinery, try and talk to them. buy for as low as possible, try to sell high. You just might luck out. if not, you'll at least break even or make a small profit.

alternatively, go to a bank, and ask for a loan. if you don't know how to do that, that tells me you haven't already, unless you have student loans. worst case scenario, you could get a payday loan, but it has high interest.

Last resort? sell plasma. steal something. sell your belongings, peddle your ass. idk. good luck user.

FAFSA. Also many colleges have minor scholarships that go unclaimed because students only look for the big ones.
One scholarship was available from a local fire department provided that you write a small essay on fire sprinklers. $500 bucks. Nobody applied the year I inquired.

Education isn't important, verifiable skills are. Your employer will know the difference. Interviewers always encounter tons of applicants with plenty of degrees, certifications, etc who don't know how to do even the simplest of jobs.

Its 1500 the total amount for the semester? If so, see if they have a payment plan. You have to put a % down now but you'll pay monthly till its payed off in December. Easier then paying the full 1500 for now.
