That's some pretty shitty pay for risking your life and long term body damage. At the moment, anyone earning less than $30k per year is poverty level.
Nigger
I want to fuck a lemon tree
I'm about to start there, do you like the place?
Its survivable. But at 40k, you're never going anywhere and can stagnate your life. Once you have a family, that will put you into poverty and force you to work more hours. You should look to increase your credentials and try to get over $45k a year. 65k is middle class.
not to mention the mental damage
So you are a father of daughters

>40-70 hours a week depending on what job I take
>Full medical for me and mine that follows me regardless of employer, pension, retirement lump sum, non Taxable per diem between 50-200 per day depending on where I'm working.
>No paid time off, I don't work I don't earn. But it's nothing for me to drag a job and have a new one within a few days. Perks of being a union member, they hook you up with jobs. So basically if I want more than a few weeks off I drag up and find a new job when I want to. It's pretty liberating to be able to say "Fuck you, get my money" when asked to do unsafe things or treated like shit.
I doubt its unlimited. I think he means he can earn unlimited. Most places limit you to 300 hours per year, and you either use them or lose them.
So if he has unlimited, that could mean he can stockpile them and have rollover time per year.
Most people in the military never see combat. In reality, he will likely sit in a chair all day tip tapping on his computer contemplating what he's doing with his life. He will then get drunk at the local bar and bang chicks who think the scar on his arm is from a terrorist when in reality he just scraped it against the file cabinet because his fat ass didn't want to get up. OP will get caught up in the whole valor clout gang and walk around like he has a 12 inch dick when in reality he's just another poorly paid wage cuck that happens to work for the government.

> Job - Commercial Real Estate Developer

> benefits - none, self employed
> annual leave entitlement - as much as I want, self employed
I work on 3-4 new projects a year and take about 5% of the project as a development fee and then my projects usually make 22%-35% returns (annualized).
Where do you live?! Narnia?
No wonder there's a high suicide rate in the military. Low paying slave wage with flashbacks of old days of glory.
What's your overhead/take home pay?
Those benefits are actually highend middle class. But from what I see, they're just benefits. Obviously not used every single year, but used sparingly and those numbers look to be the maximum.
Prescription eye glasses can range between $100-1000, so that makes sense as my own employer does the same thing, but only up to $500.
Sorry for the confusion. My net worth increases on average by 750k a month. My business tacks on about 8m to 10m a year. Had 12m in net assets in 2010 and now have net worth of 108m.
I don't really take a direct salary because capital gains are cheaper than ordinary income. On a project of 25m, I will take a $1.2m developer fee which is ordinary income to the business. But then the appreciation or cashflow is on top of that. Most projects I have are between 15m and 50m, but I've got two that are over 100m.
The projects have an overhead line item of bout 2.5% to 3% of the construction costs. Usually, construction is 65% - 75% of the total cost of the project.
Feel free to ask any questions!
Trust fund baby or taking it up the pooper in the bathroom at a prestigious country club? Either way, faggot.

737 and Airbus A320
So why don't you own a F40PH?
Uhm...I wasn't sure what that was until I looked it up. Is it a train? There are many things I don't own!
Where? Years experience? No on-call?
Imagine needing benefits because of the lack of welfare of your country
Shiiit, I was a Flight Sim Engineer for a major US carrier for 7 years. I ran the 737 fleet of 6 FFS and 12 fixed base trainers.
I do have a company plane though. It's a 2012 Learjet 31A.
You must be new here. It is the most awesome thing ever. And it is not a train although it can be used to move one.
Fucking small world man! We Sim Guys are rare!
We were supposed to get some MAXs this year...but that sort of ran into a bit of an issue.
Not employment; Might be best described as "freelancing", but:
>Clinical test subject
>$20 - $1000 per day, depending on trial (invasive procedures pay more, especially surgical trials)
>1 to 60 days on per trial, several days off
>Benefits vary massively, often healthcare. Inpatient trials offer free food, residence, etc
>No annual leave (not employed)
Psych trials are harmless and common but offer dirt pay. Surgical/medical trials offer better pay but are less common and can be super risky. One trial made me impotent, one trial improved my vision, several trials gave me rashes/reactions, another trial fucked up my liver for a few months (it recovered)...

I don't have to wipe that person's ass or any other gross connotations this field of work can have. I just have to help this person live their everyday life. Once word got out of my grand prejudice and hostility the ne'er do wells stopped coming.
It's a nice job. The client seems to be doing a lot better in their life now, too.
