Well, there's probably not one solution. But ramping up mental health spending in the US would be a good logical first step, in my opinion. But, since the US hates spending money on non-billionaires, the government is much more likely to find a "solution" that somehow involves shafting the middle class in some way.

You have to eradicate all humans from earth.
Conflict is in our DNA and there will be always people fucked up enough to take it out on innocents because from their point of view nobody is innocent.
