I am not forced to pay for healthcare (anymore). Mainly because it's unconstitutional as fuck (and unethical as fuck to boot) to force someone to pay for something they do not have, something they are not participating in, something that does not otherwise affect their life... No taxation without representation and all that...

I'm pretty lucky in that I've been a pretty healthy individual thusfar. I didn't carry health insurance in my 20's. A bit reckless, but whatever...

See, if I were to choose to get healthcare, then I'd shop around and find the best one for my particular status, and pay for that one... But if I don't want healthcare, you can't still take my money and tell me to fuck my hat... It just doesn't work that way in a free market capitalist system.

See, I pay into Social Security, but if I make it to age 62, I can start drawing a pension from that... I'm forced to participate, but at least I get a little something out of it in the end, even if it's not much at all... I'm forced to pay into Federal and Local taxes, which I very much don't agree on, but some goes to the upkeep of roads and infrastructure that I actually use, thus it at least benefits me in some way...

But Obamacare took peoples' money via an unconstitutional involuntary tax penalty, then told them to go fuck themselves after. THAT is the wrong answer.

In all honesty, a welfare-level healthcare system run by the state isn't a horrible idea; there's a bit of benefit to it, even though it is destined to be abused by the dregs of society... But the unconstitutional highway robbery at the end of it was what I couldn't sign off on...

Well. You're not entirely wrong in the first part, but the second is honestly so stupid, wrong and superficial, that I hope any children you have is taken from you, so they can raised and educated properly.

I've lived in Italy, and it's a fucking mess. Not even talking about the immigration crisis, just the government in general. Yet my friends over there will shit on capitalism and the US government all the time, and talk about how we should be socialists. It's like dude, your country is falling to pieces, what the fuck are you talking about?? These things are said to me by people who are looking to get the fuck out of Italy because they can't find a job since the economy is complete garbage.

Every business that opens fails immediately. Everyone is becoming poorer by the day. There is barely any work, and the ones that do find work don't get paid shit. If you become injured or need to go to the hospital, you'll either die or heal incorrectly before you finally get an appointment (fucking great socialized medicine). Literally ALL of my friends wanted to, or had already gotten the fuck out of there because they have better opportunities overseas, and yet they still think their system is the most efficient. So why the fuck are you leaving then??

Fucking retards, all of them. I still have a fucked up knee from a snowboarding injury in the Alps that took me 6 months to get a fucking X-ray. It had already healed incorrectly. My friends dad came to visit us in the states after I moved back and had an ulcer when he arrived (possibly erupted on the plane). He was in a coma in the hospital and had a 50/50 chance of living. He survived. If that had happened in Italy he'd be dead 100%.

Please, if you're an American and love socialism so much. Move to a socialist country. PLEASE..
